I have watched many shows but this is one of the few times where I have come across a couple where the two are equal in a true sense. I say this position wise. Many female leads in today's shows do work (thank god for that!) but they are shown doing minor jobs such as secretary, where as the male lead is seen as this powerful superior personality whom everyone bows down to (not that I don't love the attitude but i definitely don't like the fact that the female's personality is covered by this) .
This is one of the few shows where the female lead has such a powerful position ; Sarpanch. I hope as AnSh track goes forward, the continue and even improve the use of her power. The reason why this show to me makes a lot more sense is that both have a strong personality, maybe Shiv's is a bit stronger but Anandi's personality is not covered by his.
This will show that AnSh are truly equal in every sense. If CVs continue Anandi's character as it is, this is one show where the female won't be looked down upon and can walk with her head up with Shiv.
