Yesterday, i can't take my eyes off the beads she was wearing at work. My God! She is doctor?? I thought she is dressed up like she wants to go to college. Is that dress really appropriate for a doctor??. Seen several doc's but never saw one over dressed like a clown in colors. Doctors wear light colors not freakish glaring colors like this gawari wear. won't that huge bead thing interrupt or vex her when at work?. I guess it's remarkable weird wardrobe.

Well gauri looked like a gypsy queen rather than a doctor. I liked the dress and beads but i really dont think that is an appropriate dress to wear while working for a hospital.

If gauri would have been in some other profession like PR or media or advertisemnt then maybe it would been ok to dress that way but in hospital no ways...

i wonder if u noticed the skirt. very inappropriate but more than that silly really. Unprofessional for someone who's supposedly a brilliant professionally. Actually, they're showing it all wrong, at least IMO. I'd been pretty much living in one of the best hospitals in india (in b'lore) and constantly interacting with surgeons and their assistants (in oncology). I've never seen any of them in anything but their surgical attire even when they are on rounds or consulting.😕
I'm assuming that SNG is a big hospital and hense surgeons/assistants hardly get to breathe, much less change their clothes. Unless one is non-MS, non-surgeon, they usually are in the surgery overalls and with their hair tied back tightly 😆

I know, right!?!? I've never seen doctors dressed like that xD She does look like a gypsy queen!
Maybe some day Jagat will join SNG and he and Gauri will be doing an operation together and she'll be wearing a musical watch and it'll fall off inside the patient and then there'll be "Om Mangalam Mangalam"-type scenes like in that horrible movie Kambakkht Ishq 😆
Also, when she called her mum, I kept thinking two things... a) that doctors are super-busy and wouldn't have time for heart-to-hearts on the phone at work, and b) why was she sitting in an office? I didn't think starter-level surgeons got their own nice cabins, plus it would have been a lot more realistic if she'd been in the corridor of the hospital in her surgical attire or something. Just my thoughts...

yaar , what I feel is that doctors are people who have to deal with traumas and hardships of thousands of people everyday. They understand the reality of life better because they see people die everyday, people not able to pay expenses of hospital due to monetary constraints , even small babies having diseases like cancer . Doctors on having too much experiences in life never pay importance to materialistic comforts and dress like gowri wearing blue beads and start roaming in hospital.

True, bluerobin. Though as Satyamev Jayate exposed, there are doctors out there who don't think that way... then again, let me not open that can of worms! Am actually surprised at Gauri, to be honest... as a student, I remember her being quite conscientious and keen to save people's lives (e.g. she saved that lady's life when there was no-one senior around to take care of the emergency). And her dressing was simple and in keeping with her profession. She was hard-working and concerned about doing a good job rather than looking good. So I don't get where this sudden "I'm in a glamorous hospital, so I must glam myself up" attitude has come from. Maybe she's unconsciously a tiny bit smug that she's nabbed such a good job compared to her hubby?
I want the CVs to go back to portraying hospital work and life the way they did before... it was a lot more realistic back then. Long hours, meals on the go in the hospital canteen, white coats, emergencies, running around, etc. No nice cabins and pretty clothes! Daktari is not a glamorous profession, so both Gauri and the CVs need to wake up and smell the coffee... lol.

yes Siriusly Sujal , In earlier episodes it was quite believable to think gauri as a doctor. But this whole SNG hospital fashion show is not working . And as you said a doctor's profession is not about being a glamour girl. If she was in turn interested in glamour , she could have chosen some fashion designing or costume designer why becoming doctor ?

chalu hogaye gauri ki burayi karne .bina uski burai kiye din toh khatm nahi hona.uski marzi jo chahe pahene .mini skirt toh nahi pehne ,jeans toh nahi pehni ,little bit of beads and bright colours ,so what?duniya bar ke bade doctors ko tumne dekha hai kya ,dull colours can make doctor sick, its good for patients to have brightness ,agar aisa dress code dikhya hai toh shayad doctoro ne pehna bhi hoga .first doctors used to wear simple kurta may be,but there are doctors who are consious of thier dressess.
