For me, none of these explanations really make any sense.
Anandi, by nature is not a vindictive person.
She even goes to all lengths to extend honour to even those who dishonour her.
So this sudden lack of courteousness does not gel well with the personality of anandi as depicted till now.
That being said, I agree with nach baliye she may not know how to deal with a young, sophisticated stranger whom she has to work with on a professional level
She has only dealth with five types of men
1. Basant -- the animal type of agressive loud mouthed man.
2. Sadhubaba and heth singh types -- who hurt people.
3. One Jagya - i wont waste words describing him
4. The oldie types -- the various kakas etc.
5. Shyam, lal singh, and abhishek who have sort of been childhood friends or are brotherly types.
So, the likes of shiv are new for her. Anandi as a person is also used to extensive periods of convincing and having to get buy-in for her ideas from the illiterae villagers. To have someone who listens to her ideas and respects them from the get-go and who implements them immediately is also something she finds suspicious about shiv. 😆😆

Haha, I like this thought, that she is suspicious since she doesn't have to work hard for Shiv's agreement. Makes sense. I think Anandi is done with being the sacrificial lamb. As a child, she sacrificed her studies for Dadisa, but she always had a strong POV and never hesitated in expressing it no matter what - helping widows, giving them bangles, going against child marriage, etc. Over time Jagya replaced all these since she was a teenager and away from him for 5 years. When he was in Mumbai, her focus was on making herself worthy of him. Now that he is gone, she can go back to focusing on herself and her priorities. She just has so much more baggage now and is learning to live with it everyday.
