That low firm voice. That strong dialogue delivery. Those flashing eyes. Neha's Gehna was loyal, strong, intelligent and a huge support to Anandi.
Then there was the old Suguna - mercurial, capable of great depths of emotion, who made us believe the despair she must have felt when she lost her husband and was widowed...when have we not felt privileged to watch the deep love that Bhairon had for his daughter and the pain he felt when she suffered.
The new Suguna is much too quiet, too placid - none of the spark of the old Suguna.

Even Radha, Shyam's mother. Shyam himself...
We have lost a lot of good character actors.
Thank God for Dadi-sa, Bhairon and Basant.

Shyam is just too busy to even come for the shoots.

Earlier, Sugna & Shyam would be right by Anandi's side. They would've been at the court, and supporting Anandi.

I like Makhan. He is a steady faithful-in-the-background-servant. He gives a sense of continuity and predictability to their lives.

Those comments about shyam and suguna are spot on. The new actors are neither powerful nor committed to the role - can't blame them - most young men are trying to get a meaty role in the industry. This might not seem like a central enough part.

Neha didn't even need dialogues to make her presence felt... 👏

When Shyam was played by Vikrant, he was dedicated to his role, and he made his character and role meaty...iss Shyam ka toh kuch aata paata hi nai..

He came for one episode, after all the drama, in order to finish the Asha-Abhijeet story, so they won't have to focus on them anymore.
