After prolonged illness, actress Surekha Sikri returns to Balika Vadhu, but with a twist, finds Neha Maheshwri

Her bad health kept her away from Balika Vadhu, a show that made her a household name. Surekha Sikri was forced to quit the show during the month of October and was recuperating at home ever since. But the most important character of the show played by the veteran actress is all set to return by the end of this month. Interestingly, she will return in a new avatar with some changes in her personality.

Informs a source from the show, "Surekha is finally coming back in the show after a forced break of almost three months. She will re-enter the show at a very crucial point where the two of his sons turn against each other and decide to separate. The mother who has kept the family united will be shocked to see her warring sons." When contacted, Surekha said, "There will be some twist during my return. I have informed the production house that I won't be able to shoot for long hours owing to my health woes."

Basant is a hot tempered man. This track was there cause of Gehna's leaving the show. But how are they going to show that...? I am soo confused...

I so wish they'd introduce some work for Gehna too. She can do so much and so clear headed - she cud easily manage some administrative stuff or oversee an Aanganwadi type school for young girls from poor backgrounds in the time Nandu is at school.
