I am amazed by this channel again and again...people who are arguing about ancestral property and ja ga marriage, and almighty shivaniji...are forgetting a loopholes in our society[and not of law system].

India have every law for its people of any religion, if they are willing to follow it...Aanandi is like a typical,illiterate/semilitterate/ non working house wife [who are prevalent in our society] did nothing to their husband when he brings another wife , and will also keep supporting him with money and respect in the family...

Hats off to colors tv at least they raised this issue ...kyon pyar,rishton,izzat ke naam per ladki hi bar bar kurbani diye jaati hai?

Rest Shivani,gauri and jagya, they are rats crawling in our culture's loop holes, Indian law will not give them a penny, but Anandi may...out of unseen pressure from in laws,society,and her own cowardness of not being strong enough to address this issue seriously...second marriage is not fun, ki galti maaloom hui aur ghar waapas aa gaye, aur sab apnaa lenge...what will happen to babies of second wife?

Gauri ki bhi bahut hi galti hai, believing someone saying something pacifying is stupidity, the only truth is she is a second wife and she will be on papers illegitimate ,...

ek padhi likhi ladki ho ker esi galti kerna ? she believed what she wanted to believe now she cant complain, she made a wrong choice, but it is never too late to turn it around...

ok now baby ... an illegitimate baby is one who is born out of wedlock, since jag gauri had a marriage, but it was a second one so baby can take both jag gauri and maasa family to court to get his/her rights...but that is too far off...

when in doubt flip the situation to yourself,you will make a right decision

Sorry for such a huge post, I want to see what CV will decide , I have seen quite a few families where husband marries another women for love or kids, and even for a male child... ok... I know these all women do not live together, and we do not get to see a cat fight...especially if a man marries to have a male child, our patriarchal society forgives him immediately, wives also forgive him as far as he visits them regularly,pay them some money and they[1st wife] get all the ancestral property,...second wife's future is dark in any condition, and baby's future depends on the mercy of family, who normally accept the baby out of love or greed [if the baby is male]...

this is a very serious unaddressed issue in India...just like bal vivah...and colors/BV put an effort to explore it...

I have seen Indian guys marring/or sometimes living in and having kids with a second women , and first wife live with her inlaws in other house working day and night, and still keeps to have babies with her husband...why these women wait like Aanandi is waiting? mostly inlaws treat them fairly, but who wont treat you fairly, if you cook and clean for them 24/7? forget creepy inlaws who complain for everything...but this is not a life...

so my question is why women like Aanandi choose this kind of life?

they are not independent?

even if working they have a social stigma?

fear of loosing the spouse who have left them already ...?

fear of loosing validation from society?

absence of support from parents?

absence of guts to say know to this emotional abuse?
