We all know that in the end truth prevails and the dear baba ji will be at receiving end...but before that Some damage to Singhs. Anandi staying here in haveli is getting all this VIP treatment..everywhere...but in real life people like her only lands in frustation and ...Anandi has the resources and money...everything to first become an educated woman and then fight the evils. Unfortunately, CV tried to go a different track than what the earliers used to be...but it seems far from reality. G will end her life ..leave the kids for Anandi and Jagya as sual finds another girl...what afrustating way to present the life...

But in cases of rape or molestation, it is important to report the crime asap since physical wounds can serve as evidence for the crime. thats also the reason they send the victims for medical examination. I am not an expert in this but am just stating what I know. I am sure A did not know the law but coincidentally she did the right thing by going to the police. I say this because I don't think giving Asha justice is incorrect but yes I agree that her's and Shyam's ways of tackling the situation is not prudent. They have to be very tactful while dealing with a person like the baba.

I agree with hooked. And am glad dadisa pushed her yesterday. I myself wanted to do it but am limited by being outside the tv set. cant reach in and push anandi.
Before doing anything like this -- both dadisa and madan singh should have been consulted. I am not saying wait for weeks and months before reporting rape or molestation. But two or three extra hours would not have made any difference to asha's cause. (and quite frankly, I dont even feel this is asha's cause -- it seems to be more of anandi's cause 😡😡).
In this case, asha was not raped -- she was molested.
In rape, it would be easy to prove that sadhu did it - they have all kinds of tests to run about body fluids and dna tests etc. and it is easy to link the rape with the perpetrator.
But in molestation -- asha had a few bruises. How can someone prove that the sadhu molested her? For all one knows, someone else could have banged asha around and she is now putting the blame on the sadhu. There is no evidence to pinpoint on the sadhu to prove he was the perpetrator.
The point I am trying to make is that since anandi et. all decided to use the legal system then they should have a set of proofs that would be valid in the legal system. Otherwise, after a certain point, they will hit a dead end in court.
If they decide to take the matter into their own hands and have basant manhandle the sadhu, then ofcourse they can proceed however they please. Then no need for legal proofs or hassles.

@Tinoo, Sure you think differently than I do and I respect your POV. The way I look at it Its easy to say that things should have been done differently when we are not in the situation. A did try to contact Shyam to inform and ask his help but that did not happen because she ultimately had to leave her cell phone. The whole situation was one of panic with her loosing her cell phone and also the fact that those chelas were following them. When is such a situation one does what they think is best. I don't think there is anything wrong in her going to the police and reporting the incident. Bruises are bruises. A lawyer can prove a bruise caused from a molestation as one which a person might have got as an outcome of falling down and vice versa. The idea here is to report the truth in this case it was the bruises. After that what course of action and what is the outcome of the FIR is all a totally different ball game. I do not hold anything against her going to the police to lodge the FIR but yes she and shyam need to tackle the situation there on calmly and not with rage like what happened in today's episode.

@Andv, I agree that in case of rape physical evidence can be lost and any delay in reporting can win or lose the case. But my point is -yes she tried to call Shyam, but shud she not have contacted her own household too first ?

Hindsight is always much smarter yes, and I think here that maybe my judgement is getting a little clouded by Anadi's glorification and her just OTT attitude about being the self appointed samaj sudharak and angel of vengeance !

I guess I cud revise my stance to say - DS's anger and frustration is justifiable as is MS's. These two are heads of families who wish this unfortunate incidence had not happened and even when it had - if they cud have just had a some say in it b4 it snowballed into such open enmity.

@Hooked yes I totally agree that from DS and MS way of thinking they are right in being upset. Ultimately it depends on each person how and what they consider as a solution to the problem. The younger generation in this case want to give Asha justice while the older want to hide it in the fear of social dismal and fighting against a more powerful person. If it were me I would support the former since that is the path of truth and there are also laws made inorder to safegurd the victims. There on one can only hope truth prevails and justice is served. But I would not shrug away from trying to get justice due to the fear of loosing.
