Thanks for sharing Antara! The courage which this girl has shown is rare to be found even in urban educated women!👏
Please do not call her real life Anandi. Anandi is like melted kulfi in front of this girl. Not just because she is a fictional character. But because she is not even 1% as courageous as this girl. She is not even self sufficient. She depends on family spoon-feeding and family's reputation even to do her social work. Her story is not at all comparable to this younger girl, from a poor background who did everything on her own. Entirely on her own.
That's what I say, network with some NGO or police. Or form a group on your own instead of relying on your rich Bapusa or unofficial ruler of village Maaji sa!
Plus the girl in this video never gave in and let people ruin her life. Whereas Anandi's very much married and still not taking any action and is feeding the snake out of pure attachment and devotion.
To be honest, let us give due credit to real life heroes and not belittle them by comparing them to fictional characters, especially fictional characters whose deeds are nothing compared to what this little girl has done.
I am sorry if my post sounds rude. But I do not intend to hurt anyone, either the starter of this topic or the supporters of that character.
Child marriage is a way more serious and complex issue, very very murky and brutal reality as reflected in the girl's sister's life in this video report. The show only trivialised a serious social issue to get viewership and mint money.😔
