I agree with you. I think the primary reason she married jagya was to satisfy her personal ego. She was initially rejected by J's family, so consciously or unconscioulsy she just wanted to prove to evryone, including her OWN self that is absolutely Fit to be J's wife and that she deserves to be one.
Otherwise really speaking, after knowing the fact that she is not Jagya's legal wife anymore, why would she still want to cling to him. After all for G, her legal status was moe important that anything else.
