Amina, I've heard this ghazal of Mehdi Hassan, in fact he's one of my favorite singers. We do have an Indian version of this ghazal from the film Dil Hai ki Maanta Nahi - "Tu pyaar hai kisi aur ka, tujhe chahta koi aur hai". This song has been massacred by Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal, music stolen by Nadeem-Shravan, all of them finaced by Mahesh Bhatt.

Thanks dear for your coments ..yes i have heard that too...that is their deed they stole it ..they are responsible ..but as for now when i see jagya i pity him ..poor guy dont even have guts to speak up either for Anandi or Gauri ..he had married to two ladies spoiled thier lives and now only knows very well that how to make his eye balls move to & fro here and there.. sice my childhood i have learned that the man who can not talk while looking in your eyes is the one who is culprit and same can seen in jagya's condition

Agree with that bit of Jagya being shifty-eyed. Either the director is very very good, or Shashank himself is a very good actor. I remember in the track where they introduced Shashank I noticed he had very smiling eyes, esp. when he was teasing Anandi in the mela.
