From what I know there is a mandatory 30 day notice period for the registration of marriages...A notice is supposed to put up on their office notice board and within this period anyone who objects will have to contact the authorities...Or else the marriage is not registered...But Jag couldnt wait so long ...It can be proved too by Basanth and the peon...Anyway...The marriage is a sham as it is ...think this doesnt really matter...What do u all think?

Not only has the 30 day period been bypassed but also Jagya declared that he was unmarried while signing the documents, which is clearly not the case. Again Jagya signed his name as Jagat but he never legally changed his name from Jagdish to Jagat. Gauri can only prove that she is married to someone called Jagat Singh who does not exist. So the marriage is illegal on all grounds, without taking into consideration the situation with Anandi.

Also a registered marriage requires that there be two witnesses from the Groom's side and two witnesses from the bride's side attesting to the facts declared in the marriage document - including that the two parties are single and there can be no legal objections to the marriage. In this marriage such witnesses were conspicuous by their absence.

That's NOT a marriage at all! J & G are free to move away as theirs is a "living relation ship" .This is a marriage with no meaning & any formality,except to the peon who made some thing out of this & he will reveal it before Judge when questioned.

Gouri can never have any rights!

But the children of gouri will have rights on J's ancestral(if any)properties!
