Yes Gauri is confusion personified. She herself doesn't know what she wants. One day she wants to stay in the haveli and do bhagirath tapasya and next day she wants to go to Mumbai. She wants Anandi to stay away from them and then herself seeks out to blast her. Maybe when Anandi attempts to give Jagya a divorce Gauri will have a problem with that too. She might shout at the top of her voice,

"Rishtey bheekh mein nahi diye jaate Anandi. Mujhe mera haq khud larke lena hai, tum beech mein mat pado"!! 😕

Aren't Cvs themselves contributing to 'confused' Gauri'? Each time they show Gauri realizing or contemplating her misjudgment or entailing havoc in Anandi's life, and thereby making us anticipating some remorse on her part, they make her assault Anandi spitefully or vainly in the very next scene! This can not be taken as a guilt ridden backlash all the time. Add to this, Gauri's non existent empathy, (or a fake show of it), to a fellow woman's plight and she actually loses any sympathy we might have felt for her own entanglement. In this light, Cvs incessant usage of a 'compassionate' female voice alaap accompanying Gauri's twitched lips and 'hurt' eyes, invariably in arms of that two timing creep, is actually annoying. Her claims for understanding are themselves confounding.
