I cried today for fist time, How ironic is this thing when you feel suddenly no ground beneath your feet, and no sky above... totally alone...I don't know how many of you are married and felt this? not exactly the betrayal, but loneliness and no support from either of the families...it was amazingly true, Aanandi have loving parents and loving in-laws but in reality she is most lonly today, and it is not just about a husband's betrayal, it actually arise much more questions then that. Husband is just a small part of this ordeal, what if Aanandi goes back with her parents? uneducated /partially educated A will not get a respectable life there and will have to live a life filled with misery and pity. Unlike this situation women usually choose to live at sasuraal even when inlaws treat her badly, because they want to live with their pride unattacked by society like Kesar in Pratigya.
Do we not need a change in this system? I really do not care if a man betrays you or whatever, but as a respectable human being of this society women should have some financial security/ enough education and courage, in this entire social system of wedding where girl becomes paraya at her birth home and very often never be able to become a complete part of another home, now on the top of it if they supposedly have abreak up for whatever reasons where she can go, whom to look at? also why we are supposed to look at somebody to support us ? why cant we have our own life uninterrupted, uncursed, unmeddled?
