Whatever we might say, but the fact remains that A has become part of Singh family because she is married to J. Now when the son of the house is asking for financial help from A, it's a big win for her.
So she has done the right thing by being magnanimous.
I completely agree...I don't think it is because she loves him etc (though she may) but she did it out of the goodness of her heart in the spirit of helping someone who asked her for it
By agreeing to help J, she has in fact risen above the petty crap and kept true to her character...
I liked that fact that she didn't argue with Bhairav's method because at least J was getting what he needed to survive and study
Moreover, I liked her reasoning that J may go to the court or employ other methods that would lead to washing dirty linen in public...by looking out for that, she showed that her smarts are bigger than her emotion and that she cares more for the respect of the family she very much sees as her own than just J's need
