wherever I go in the forum, it's the same damn argument about real and unreal vs values and ethics. It's almost like we are fighting about immigration laws and health care all in the same discussion.

But anyway, great post Suchi. I agree with you, Anandi is on the verge of severe depression. I don't think going away to her parents' place would have been better. Here at least, she is surrounded by people who love her and protect her and are not crying over or blaming her fate. Imagine the girl in her parents' place----her parents would have been devastated, cried all the time, blamed Anandi's fate and maybe neighbors would have questioned too. Here at least she doesn't have to face the villagers, she is kind of protected, am glad she decided to stay back.

But yes, the possibility of suicide is huge. And I am very scared. That's precisely why she should start concentrating on her studies. An empty mind can spin endless things without control, she needs to divert her attention to something more productive. But true, people in real life can get into severe depression and suicidal tendencies if put in such a situation. 😭

Yeah I hope she doesnt do it but then she is a strong girl she will stand up for herself...
