1. I would be thankful that i got out of a child-marriage situation and got an education.

2. I would dump J's ass as soon as I find out that he is already married.

3. I would stay really far away from the family who gave me a lot of trauma when I was child.

4. Even if I end up marrying J cos "we are so in love & he is not gonna return to anandi anyways", I wud not expect the family to welcome me with open arms & give me the status of the haveli DIL. I'll try to get their blessing, but will not be surprised when they show me the door.

I also didn't get why the servant called Gaga for lunch when the others weren't done eating. Why not call them after they've left - just so that this scene could be created? Incidentally, why doesn't Gaga simply refuse to eat there, go out to some dhaba for their meals and come back when they're done? It's not like they have to be there 24/7. From the final scene, I think Anandi will try to leave again, not b'cos of herself, but b'cos she'll want to see Nandu accept Gauri as his bhabi. In other words, do it precisely for the reason that most in this forum don't want her to, rather than for the reason that they do - for her own sake. I personally don't care why she chooses to leave, so long as she does. I hope by Friday, she's out of there, after DS asks Gaga to stay. Tell them you need to study and everything here is a distraction, and then go to a hostel or to her maayka and pick things up from there.

The moral didn't make sense - those who violate the maryada of their family? The maryada of this family is child marriage and reducing the bahu to a servant in the house. W/o justifying Jagya's 2nd marriage, I'd say the maryada of this family deserves to be violated. I'm waiting for the day when Anandi gets re-married to someone else, and gives them another zor ka jhatka, and that Dadisa finally has her one way ticket to Yamalok.
