WU 3rd June

The episode starts off where it was left yesterday.

Jagdish manages to convince Gauri by emotionally talking about their relationship being destined and how they were wedded in their childhood and destiny had them meet in their youth. This is a sign that they are made for each other. Gauri falls for it and embraces Jagdish.

Next day Jagdish and Gauri are in Gauri's house to talk about their relationship. Jadgish tells them that he loves Gauri and is willing to marry her legally in a court so that their relationship will be legally recognised by the world. To which Gauri's dad says that even though you may marry Gauri, Anandi will be recognized as your first wife. Jagdish goes to the extent of saying that he is ready to legally get a divorce from Anandi so that she can be free to do what she feels with her life. By divorcing her, he would release her from the bonds of child marriage that was unknowingly entered by both of them during their childhood days.

He says that even if he doesn't get to marry Gauri he will never return to Anandi or accept her as his wife. Gauri's father questions him whether he disclosed Gauri's identity to his parents. He tells him about the past and how he still remembers the insults his family faced due to the marriage experience. Jagdish tells them that his family has broken all ties with him and no one will ever bother their family again. So now they should not have a problem in taking a decision about the marriage. Gauri's parents take her indoors to have a discussion among themselves. Jagdish looks tense.

Gauri's mother asks her why is she choosing the same family who has caused them so much mental stress. She tells her that whatever happens Gauri will always be known as Jagdish's second wife. Her parents tells her to think about her future as Jagdish has no family support and how will they manage in future. What if Jagdish decides to return back to his family? What will she do? They convince her that they will find her a suitable match as she is both educated as well as beautiful.

But Gauri seems to remain adamant and tells her parents that Jagdish is a changed person and she has full faith in him as she knows that he loves her and will never leave her. She tells him that what happened in childhood is not going to repeat as her husband (Jagdish) is ready to be at her side. And she will be called Jagdish's wife as they are going to be legally married as the court will not recognise child marriage. And as they are both educated they will earn enough for both of them and start a new life in Mumbai. She tells her parents that even though it may be difficult for them to accept her relationship with Jagdish but she is quite convinced that he truly loves her. She also tells them that why are they hesitating to accept the relationship and by doing so they are bound to ruin three lives - as Jagdish will never return to Anandi and she and Jagdish will never remain happy being separated from each other.

Her parents finally accept her wish. Gauri is happy and smiling.
