One question that I have been struggling after Jagya's recent behavior, is that in real life is is possible that a person's character and personality can change so much, from being a slightly easy to be influenced yet honest and sincere boy, who was devoted to his family can someone become as rude and selfish as jagya.

My sense is that:

a) even in his childhood jagya was shown to be misled several times like gambling, jealoius of anandi, running to mumbai and others.....the only thing was he treated anandi as his closest friend...so he was always easy to be mis-led or influenced by his surroundings

b) he always showed signs of protest to the village culture and customs...and was always sick of the strictness at his home.....which means for him to move to mumbai with full freedom could mean anything to him and change him to any extent.

I think, if we remember jagya's childhood and past, we can see glimpses of this new Jagya in several events....This is my POV, would like to hear from others.
