"My character Sandhya bumps into Anandi in a temple and sees a a depressed and unhappy Anandi, who is already dejected about being away from Jagya, and has started feeling insecure about Jagya talking highly about his new friend Gauri," Sadiya says. Anandi, who had supported Jagya unconditionally for his medical studies now feels that she had to give up everything and was deprived of education because she got married at a very tender age. Sandhya tells Anandi that she has taken an oath to eradicate child marriage from the society, but is not expecting any support from her as she has already dedicated her life to her family since an early age.
Sadiya, who wanted to be a psychotherapist in real life says, "There is a strong similarity between Sandhya and myself, as even Sandhya stands up against anything wrong that happens in the society." Tune in to "Balika Vadhu" on Colors every Monday – Friday at 8pm.
