Finally a great episode!!

Highlights : Jagya caught by police
Sumitra decides to punish Jagya

Jagya and two other boys are brought to the police station. They see the inspector hitting someone black and blue. The boys panic. The constable tells them that the inspector was in a bad mood. Jagya looks nervously, s&*! scared. The inspector shouts at the boys that they were given warnings before, with no luck, so they had to catch them. He looks at Jagya and asks him who he is, since he seems to be from a good family.

Jagya tells the police inspector that he was the grandson of Kalyani Devi from Jetsar. The police inspector calls Jetsar police station and conveys this message to the inspector there. The boys are locked up to be taken care of later.

At the haveli, Maasa and others gather around. Makhan Singh comes home to say Jagya was not at school Everyone looks worried. Shyam comes there too. Just as they wonder where Jagya is, the police inspector comes home asking if Jagya is at home. Maasa says he hasn't returned from school. The inspector then tells Maasa that some boy in Sumerpur was caught gambling and he was claiming to be Jagya. Everyone is shocked. They think its mistaken identity.Everybody but Gehna leaves to Sumerpur.

In the lockup, the two boys with Jagya curse Ballu and Sunder like anything for running away and vow to beat them up when they get out. Jagya keeps crying and thinks that Anandi was bang on right about Sunder, he was no friend but was a crook. He apologizes to Anandi for not listening to her and cries. At Mahavir's haveli, Anandi wakes up with a jerk remembering Jagya. She wonders how he is doing and decides to write a letter to him. She hides their bad situation and asks about family members in general.
Bhago wakes up and sees this and feels bad.

At the police station, Jagya is brought out as its his turn to get beaten. He starts to cry and pleads to be left alone. The inspector is not sure he even belongs to a good family and that he was lying about being Kalyani Devi's grandson. Just as he is about to beat Jagya, Basanth and family enter the station. Jagya runs to Maasa and hugs her. Maasa confirms Jagya is her grandson. The cop tells the family that Jagya was caught playing cards. Sumitra is very pissed to hear this.

Maasa asks Jagya how he came to Sumerpur and Jagya says he came with Sunder. The inspector tells them how bad the other boys are since they are involved in petty theft and small crimes. Sumitra keeps getting angrier and angrier. As Basanth proceeds to bail Jagya out, Sumitra stops him and tells the inspector that they are not going to take Jagya home. She goes to Jagya and starts hitting him for taking advantage of his freedom. Because of him, the family had to come to jail, which they have never had todo. He didn't even think of Suguna, who was waiting for her brother for pag phera.

Maasa tries to tell Sumitra to take Jagya home first, but Sumitra absolutely refuses saying she will treat Jagya the way Bhairav would have. She then requests the inspector to keep Jagya overnight and to treat him and beat him like any of the other boys. Jagya is taken back to the cell and keeps crying helplessly..

Message : In adolescence, boys are vulnerable to fall into bad company. Parents need to be not only watchful, but if need be, they have to be stern and resort to strict punishment...

Precap : Bhairav is back (Yay!). He asks for Anandi and Sumitra tells him that she is back in her mayka and that she has been thrown out of the house. Bhairav is shocked and demands to be told everything....
