Highlights : Anandi grows up
Bhairav is kept in dark about Anandi
Maasa's past stands against her
Anandi comes to the field to feed her father. She sees her father eating dry rotis with onions and a sukhi subji. She remembers how much food there used to be in her saasra and feels bad. Khajan asks her if she is missing her saasra. Anandi denies it and says that she has so much to do in her parents' house. She can roam about the farm, there's so much work at home, there is so much to talk to her mother and father about. She slowly walks towards a tree, all the while telling Khajan she is happy. She says she is happier at her parents' house than at her saasra. She cries as silently as she can behind the tree. Khajan comes to her and tells her that his daughter is grown up so much that she has started to hide her tears from him. He hugs Anandi and wonders if her saasra even remembers her.
In the haveli, Sumitra cooks and cries remembering Anandi. Gehna too comes their and commiserates with her. Jagya comes there to tell them that Bhairav has called. Suguna talks to Bhairav and tells him she's fine. Sumitra then talks to Bhairav, who asks her why she is upset. Sumitra lies that everything is fine and she just misses him. Jagya tries to tell Sumitra to talk to Bhairav about Anandi, but Sumitra tells Bhairav to return soon and hangs up. She tells Jagya that they should wait until Bhairav is back. Jagya yells at everyone for not caring about Anandi and leaves in a huff.
A man comes running to the haveli and tells Maasa and family that Mahavir Singh was in the village, trying to buy the villagers' debt, offering more money than Maasa. At the village square, MS and RS tell the farmers to accept 1.5 times the money from Mahavir and pay back their debt to Maasa and in turn pawn their land to Mahavir. The farmers reluctantly agree and take the money. MS and RS then ask the farmers to go to Maasa and return the money ASAP. Maasa comes there and says that they need not take that step, she is here....
Message : Personal enmity leads to casualty of the innocent, who are in no way involved.
Precap : Maasa tells the farmers that she will gladly give back everyone's land papers, but is offering a counter-deal by offering them twice the money..
