BV - June 11th 2009 - Written Update

Highlights : Gehna helps out Niranjan
Shyam continues with attempts to get through to Suguna

Gehna and Basanth enter Niranjan's house. Niranjan looks really weak. He tries to get them water, but Basanth tells him not to get up. He tells him that Gehna expressed concern over his health, so he got her to see him. Niranjan is thankful that Basanth was so helpful to him. Gehna asks Niranjan about his health. He says he is feeling better. She notices that the house is in a mess. She asks Niranjan if he ate anything. He lies that he did. Gehna realises that he is lying. She offers to makes something for him. She then requests Basanth and Niranjan to sit outside for sometime.

Anandi is on her way to give some kheer to Shyam. Jagya stops her demanding his lunch box for school. Anandi argues with Jagya. Maasa who is praying closeby notices how Anandi addresses Jagya by his name. She starts praying more loudly and Anandi realises her mistake. She requests Suguna who is passing by to take kheer to Shyam while she can get Jagya's box ready, lest Maasa gets even more angry. Suguna reluctantly goes upstairs.

Meanwhile Gehna calls Niranjan and Basanth inside the house. The men notice that Gehna has not only cooked for Niranjan, she has also cleaned up the house. Niranjan tells her that all this was not necessary. Gehna says that it was since a clean and hygenic house would keep illnesses away. Basanth is impressed by Gehna and comments to Niranjan that he should get married too since his house is in need of a woman. Basanth receives a call and steps out to talk. Gehna and Niranjan then talk about Basanth. Niranjan tells her that Basanth was a very nice man and Gehna agrees that he is indeed very good at heart and supportive. She again asks Niranjan to get married. Niranjan says that he has been heart-broken once and doesn't want to risk it again. Besides, he is too poor to get married. Gehna helps Niranjan lie down. Basanth enters to see Gehna helping Niranjan. On seeing Basanth, Gehna steps back a little. Basanth asks gehna to leave. Niranjan expresses his gratitude to both of them.

Suguna comes to Jagya's room to see Shyam staring at her picture on the monitor. Suguna is shocked and demands to know how Shyam has her picture. Shyam tells her that it was from the cell phone. Suguna orders him to get rid of the picture. Shyam tells her to do it herself. Suguna says she doesn't know. Shyam then instructs her to press the delete button. Suguna's finger lingers around the button, but she doesn't press it. Shyam then pulls her hand and presses the button.
He tells Suguna that she can get rid of this picture, but not the picture in his heart. There was a lot of difference b/w the picture that was erased and the one in his heart. He then pulls out a print out that shows Suguna with a bindi on her forehead. Shyam tells her that Suguna looks so good in the picture and all he had to do was fill some color in her life. Suguna looks at the picture and remembers how Pratap had told her the same thing...that he wants to fill her life full of colors. Suguna starts to weep. She crumples the photo and throws it and asks Shyam to stay away from her life. She walks way and Shyam looks on sadly.....


Message : A heart filled with thoughts of first love is unable to understand the bitter truth of life...

Precap : Sumitra bends over to retrieve a fallen doll and finds the photo that Suguna tossed away. She is shocked. She meets Shyam and tells him to stay away from Suguna's life....
