Shyam and Gehna scene: 9th June

I really liked the Shyam and Gehna scene in yesterday's epi.....They talked with each other in a very upfront and straightforward manner.....no dilly dallying. The dialogues in this show are so well written👏.....I really loved the way Shyam said that he doesn't want to erase Pratap's memories from Sugna's heart cuz he knows how much she's loved him....he just want to give his love to Sugna without conditions.....and I loved what he said about how time heals all wounds ultimately.

They gave a more realistic dimension to it also by making Shyam acknowledge how difficult it's going to be.....but I loved his determination and willingness to do whatever it takes for the sake of Sugna and her happiness. Gehna's on his side now too so this should help him somewhat atleast.

I loved the pre-cap....the way he snapped Sugna's pic with the cellphone😆😆....I guess he's going to go back to using the 'I'll teach the computer to Jagya" excuse to go to her house...and I'm guessing Gehna will send Sugna over to him with the laddoos and stuff.....lol......Hoping for a good epi today😊

I agree , there were beautiful dialogues between Shyam and Gehna..

^^I agree with you....Vikrant is doing a fabulous job...this is the first show I"m watching him in and he's quite an impressive actor. I don't really find his hand movements to be distracting personally :S LOL


As for Sugna....I think her character is also being well handled......I don't find her dialogues to be stupid....she is a girl who is only 16-17 and yet going thru so much! She's just a child! Obviously she will have some childish reactions to things that she can't fully understand the magnitude of yet....like the fact that she's pregnant with Pratap's baby...she's romanticized it as the last symbol of Pratap that she has left......yet she is unable to understand the real life difficult responsibilities and challenges it will bring that she is not equipped with to deal with at all.

So they are just depicting her confusion and stubborness....I don't find it jarring really....it seems within character to me.

Vikrant and his role in Balika Vadhu are good. He is indeed doing a superb job...

I too loved the scene between Shyam and Gehna...its gud to see that Shyam is just not only romanticising and dreaming n saying he loves sugna etc etc. He is aware of wat he is doing and of the societal conditions also. Gehna has always been sensible thats really nice. I didnt really want to see Sugna getting married to Shyam under some pressure like izzat etc. And after ystrday's epi, I hav a hope it wudnt be such a situation so i m glad.
