How come Shyam isn't married ?

Shyam is Madan Singh's son , and their family has been staying in the same village since years [ because the feud between the two families goes back to Jagya's grandfather's times ] . So it's pretty obvious that their family follows the same custom on child marriage , like every family in the village . Then , how come Shyam is not married ?

Also ,we've seen that Madan Singh has a widowed daughter-in-law who is a couple of years older than Anandi [ the same girl whom Anandi gave her bangles and jalebis to in the bazaar a long while back ] Whose wife was she then ?

And , if Dadi-saa indeed knows Madan Singh from the time when "he couldn't wipe his nose himself " as she said yesterday , if that's the case , shouldn't she know about him having a son named Shyam , even if she hasn't seen the son herself ?

This is making no sense to me : / I hope today's episode throws light on these matters a bit....particularly about the widowed girl .

actually gud points shreya n agree wid all the points...hope thy throw a lite on tis...i gueseed shyam wud be son of madan bt then dadisa shud hve known leavng in the same village n even if he went back 2 city 4 studies then also ppl in the village wud kno his son is shyam...i feel he is an adopted son... i think so...i didnt watch yesterdays epsde yet...bt i will b back after watchng n soon comment!

also how come no one knows shyam? in small village everyone knows everyone else. also if shyam's parents lived in the village and he was studying the city did he never come to visit them?

I used to think , in the beginning , that he was a stranger or something , perhaps an NGO who's come to do social work in the village....after all , they did show so much of mystery around him , he used to wander about in the fields [ which now I understand was because he was surveying them for the pipeline stuff ] and no one in the village recognised him and all . And then that day , when the village told him "Thaare bapu-saa se kehna padega " , then I had an inkling of the truth , that his father must be someone in the village .... and of course Mehr and Priya predicted that he would turn out to be Madan Singh's son : ))

But really , there are too many discrepancies in the whole thing : S If it was any other show I wouldn't have cared so much , but it's BV and they always try to make sense . But here....the gaps are too big .

He isn't married , no one recognises him , no one remembers him for God's sake , not even Dadi-saa , and then there's that young girl. Maybe she's the widow of Madan Singh's younger son ? But in that case , WHY would Shyam be single ? Or maybe he's a child widower? But then why didn't they marry him off again ?

I think there is a possibility Mehr , that he's adopted or something....or maybe he's the son of Madan Singh's deceased brother/sister/some relative , and Madan S. and his wife have brought him up as their own :S God knows....it's too confusing : S

u see dear i rushed 2 watch the video n madan singh proudly says he is my son...actually always felt he wud be the son bt wen ur talkg abt the gaps n loopholes wat ur sayg makes sense...how cme he isnt married??n then if he is c hild widower then dnt u think sugna n shyam r lucky tis wise😆 u c it luks mre fake or coincidence...his bahu is a widow n shyam 2!!! n even sugna??

exactly! any other show i wudnt have cared. but BV having such big gaps is not done. i feel its all becuz of this suguna's pregnancy track which is too much like a k-show-boy and girl abt to get married, boy unfortunately dies leaving behind pregnant girl who finds an instant knight in the shining armour. i wud have preferred if they wud have shown the pregnancy before shyam introduction and then brought in badi jiji and shyam.
now i feel the past 2-3 months have gone down the drain. suguna is once again locked in the kothri, school and all thoughts of emancipation forgotten and our time wasted. even if she marries shyam she isnt going back to school. it wud have been better if badi jiji wud have come in now and solved all problems together including suguna's pregnancy.

WORD , Shreya ! [ # 2 I mean 😆 ] I was saying more or less the same thing to my mother a few days back , that with this TOTALLY UNNECESSARY pregnancy track , they ruined all the efforts of Badi Maasi and the positive steps taken in the past couple of months : Sugna going to school , taking a real interest in learning , Dadi-saa bringing her to eat with them at the table , etc . Every single good thing , they've ruined it .

In the village...everybody knows everybody. If Shyam is studying elsewhere, everyone would know where he is and what he is doing. There are no strangers in villages. Here is another one for you, Suguna is pregnant. A house that big needs tons of servants...are they going to keep it secret from them all? Where are all the servants anyway?

The funny thing is Maasa keeps hammering the point to everyone that her family honor will be gone if the pregnancy is revealed. But so far, she is the ONLY one who has revealed this secret to outsiders....the vaidji came to know, she told the doctor, she told Bhiku, who looks like he's quite capable of blackmail

Wonder how many more people she will tell this little secret of hers before she follows her own instructions to not open her mouth!

This is indeed a million dollar question on why Shyam is not married yet, especially in a village where everyone is married when they are as young as Jagya.........😆
