Pratap's mother seems a bit too modern to me... their family believes in child marriages and things like that, so what always confuses me is that Pratap's mother never has her ghungat on her face in front of other men like Sumitra, Gehna, etc. I really don't understand why she's the only one in the whole show who doesn't wear her ghungat, can someone please explain? If their family is so backward, why is Pratap's mother so modern?😕

*Kruthi* - That's so true. But it may just be that in their house it's different.

Looks like she is the only woman in the entire show who doesn't have a ghunghat. Most have it covering their faces, but she doesnt even have it on her head. They r talking abt rivaaj, child marriage, not waiting for Sugna to be 18, but she is the one not following the rivaaj.
And the funniest thing of all, Maasa doesnt say anything abt them... she usually always has something to say abt everyone like abt Gehna's maayka, Anandi's maayka. Surprising she didnt mention her not wearing ghungat.
If they r that different and more modern, then its surprising they even got Sugna married there. I dont think that makes sense at all and if they r rly that modern then Bhairav shud have nothing to worry abt.
The only conclusion I've come to is that the actress playing the role isn't comfortable acting or dressing like that.
