Message to Colors - Page 2

@Ryan40 and Karen I so totally agree with you. Colors has minipulated all fans with their stupid tactics. What a great time for Mishal to quit during IPL and bring him back after IPL is over. All in the name of TRP's!!!! Wasn't he going to bollywood and join movies??? Whatever happened to that???

After this much time has elapsed we are still trying all we can to bring our fav pair back. If you have any any new ideas & would like to contribute, would love to hear them.

There is no comparision Mishrita, BP is long gone whereas LTL is still a very successful show.

Although one means no disrespect towards any other show, one has to keep track of whats happening in the world of TV if we are to understand the skewed workings of channels like colors & the tricks they will play in order to gain TRPs.

Everything you said about colors, i agree with, unfortunately a select group of comp. savvy people who choose to air their views on the forums don't seem to mean much to them. It's the 7000 odd 'chosen audience' set by TAM (Tv Audience Measurement) that they seem to follow blindly. But honestly, just how accurate are those TAM readings??
Without meaning to sound obscene, I'd like to share an old ad that aired on a foreign channel... it shows a couple making out on the couch in front of their 'switched on but muted' TV, the tagline read..."Who is really being screwed here" !! (It means that the TV might be on, but that doesn't necessarily mean the show is being watched)😆

Needless to say, most of us here have steered clear of anything aired on Colors, even giving up on other shows we used to watch along with BP, the only exception being Uttaran, to support Sharad during his short stint there.

While i'd be truly happy for you if you got your Mishal back, I don't for a minute believe Colors would take any decision based on fans wishes alone, rather they are bamboozling fans into believing that their wishes have been granted, thus turning you & the other LTlians from rebellious revolters into a very loyal & thankful audience.

As far as BP goes, we're aware that it might not return, but what we still strive for is to see Sharad/Supriya set the screen ablaze in a new show, be it on Colors or any other channel.

Just came across this article & it looks as if it was indeed the actor's decision to quit the show.

@Mishrita, we too did our bit of collecting & emailing/posting 'informative data' in a much more detailed manner, if I may add...but as you can see we've still been kept waiting & now the LTlians too...
