In my previous thread (titled, 'What if') I asked....What if .......the BP New Story was based on Ranveer

rather than on Dv.

Most of you gave an astounding Noooo for an answer.

The many comments there.....Dv is unique, not typical, Ranveer doesn't have the same charm as Dv, Dv is Dv, want Dv no one else......

So people here is my next question....

What if you were to get back your Dv.....the same charismatic, despotic Dv.....

But played by a different actor....Not Sharad Kelkar

Now do you feel the same way??

Do you still want Dv, or would you prefer Ranveer played by Sharad Kelkar?

well i dont want someone else to pleay the character dv its only sharard that really suits this character. to be honest only want shaard as dv.

Damn good point, Pankaj. Sharad Kelkar as Ranveer will do.

We want the pairing, we want the magic. Heck, yes, we want the DV-Amoli story continued, but let's also get other options on the table to get their magic back at least, since short of Colors getting an epiphany, we can get neither the BP title nor characters and storyline for a 2nd season elsewhere.

And if we must start from scratch with a new story, then why not hedge our bets further? A more mainstream non-controversial character so that the magic of the chemistry can get the series successful on a greater scale without being eroded by the controversies of a dark character going grey and *then* white.

Instead, the character going straight from grey to white would mean the equivalent of missing out on that excruciating period where DV was shown as the despot chasing Amoli. So, YAY!

Besides, Ranveer would still be DV but with humour. We can have the best of both worlds, and it would make it easier to get the series a more varied and hopefully even larger fanbase.

DV would still be DV, intensity and every other quality intact, just with humour as well.

its not a matter of choice..its something like you cant even imagine any other way like...

can you imagine deewar played by someone else than AB?
can you imagine ddlj played by someone else other than kajol and srk??
can you imagine harry potter played by someone other than daniel radcliffe????

the answers no ..in the same way ; you cant imagine another person playing DV other than SK..... i would say i would reject both if it were to happen....i rather watch BP reruns as DV than spoil my memory of it by watching another typical Ranvir character..which are abundant on other shows...

Excellent topic👏👏👏👏,u knw what we 've 1 LIFE,we TRULY LOVE once and there can be only 1 dv's character in this world played by SHARAD only,there can just be a remake of the character which is truly and wholly owned by Sharad,the way he has depicted the character.maybe some other actor (Godforbade i'm just assuming it)plays this character all to well but i'm sorry to say that actor wud just sabotage his own image by juz copying or trying to play it in a way Sharad has played.there is easy to copy but it's a hell to create or innovate a character and give it life,it's not a child's play.About Ranveer role,played by Sharad is not even a problem for me,but for me it wud be just a guy next door meaning v've enough of Ranveer types in daily soaps,again i wud say maybe it's just my opinion Sharad had attracted me in his dv sort of negative character.

i really appreciate ur both ideas of "Same Ranveer but different story" and "Ranveer-played-by-Sharad and DV-any1else",but u knw we r so obsessed by dv na that we can't see any1 beyond DV,sorry can't think straight🤣these ideas are good,creative and innovative and v need sme strong characters to put life in them and really really very healthy ideas to discuss about,here what we all are saying that practically,on real basis we want Sharad to play dv role,ofcourse with different story but same kind of intense,passionate lov story.

Sumthing 2 think about...............but my answer wud be that there r some roles n characters which suit only sum actors ............ afta seeing Sharad n DV n Supriya as Amoli its impossible 2 see any1 else fit into these roles.......

They have carved a niche a mould which only they can fit in2........... no 1 else

hahahaha lol u have got usss :P the first main reason of BP is sharad and if sharad is not in it thn NO BP :( between having another actor in BP i would rather prefer Ranvir in it!!!!

i totally agree with u ,NO BAIRI PIYA without sharad-supriya,both ov them are backbone ov this show,the show wud just collapse without any ov them
