The guy doesn't know what Love is! Not ONCE has he done anything for Amoli that shows his Love. He has lied to her, humiliated her, beaten her, trapped her and just plain victimised her! He did the same to Urmila! He hurt her so badly and if he felt ANY kind of affection for her he would be trying to stop her leaving instead of going back to his plan of getting Amoli!
Love isn't just SAYING the words! The actions have to back them up too! And none of Thakurs actions have done that!
All Thakur has shown are signs of being a PSYCHOPATH.
