Thank you guys for clarifying. Considering I have just started watching the show, I was probably not impressed with Shogu as a character, or say it was more like a grey shade... But now this makes it clear.. 😛

Shogu's character is actually layered just like Dev. Frankly speaking she is the only Kant women I can connect with others like Surili, Maggi & Sharmila are just plain hypocrites whereas Shogu is more emotional & sensitive much like Dev only. Few episodes post her marriage with Dev have brought out her character layers so well.

Word to all of this! The court marriage episode was the definitive turning point in my personal opinion of Shogu's character, that I remember clearly. Up until that point, I had been in awe of Neha's ability to make an apparently arrogant woman seem oddly endearing at times...After that marriage fiasco episode, though, I fell completely in love with the character...I'm still falling, because Neha is just SO good at bringing all of Shogata's layers to light! I feel like Neha and Neel both play off each other so well that their scenes together do the dual task of fleshing out both of their characters at the same time. I have so much love for the way Dev and Shogu's roles have been written and portrayed! Hope they keep it up!

Correctly said both Neha & Neel is just awesome the way they portray Shogu & Dev & as u said well scripted too there characters are. There mere presence can bring fire on screen. Last episode is the perfect example the moment they appeared in a frame they just created fire on screen. The episode was extremely serious they were just standing but there chemistry is just that awesome we all are in Devta land. I really hope cvs do give the necessary screen space for them & they develop there story which we all are waiting for. As someone said if Dev & shogu are divorced & they are single it will awesome the way they realise there love for each other, a strong potential story
