So the story is about bade bhayia (Abhishek) and finding a girl for him.
Let me tell you about Abhishek and his family first.
His father had left when he was 13 and never came back for 10 years. He has a brother( Rohan) and a sister (Avni). Rohan is autistic and Avni loves hockey and is very short tempered. Their mom (babli) is handicapped so she's stuck on the top floor of the house. Abhishek has 3 uncles from which the youngest one had also left home with his wife. His other two uncles are kinda useless. Each of the uncles have 2 kids, a girl and a boy. Since the uncles are useless, Abhishek handles all the responsibilities. He always wanted to be an engineer but had to drop out of college to take care of his family. He feels since his father didn't fulfill his responsibilities, he has to do the job. His mother really wants him to get married so that there's someone to take care of him as well. His father also just returned after 10 years. His daadi wants him to forgive his father but he is not being able to. He tries to stay calm in front of the family. They run a homestay for a living.

Meera (female lead) on the other hand is a very full of life character. Her parents are IAS officers. She has a sister (Riya) who is also very intelligent but Meera has failed many times either in exams or most of the things she does. She has taken a 6 month course in almost everything 😆 Her parents want her to be responsible and pass in atleast one thing she does. Meera really tries hard to get things right but messes up. Her only dream is to make her father proud. Her sister Riya is engaged to Sanjay who lives in Devpur (where Abhishek lives). Currently, Meera and Riya are staying in Pant bhawan's homestay. They came to Devpur to meet a guy (Aman) for Meera. Aman is Sanjay's cousin. Meera has said yes to marry Aman just to make her parents happy. She thinks if she impresses Aman's family, she'll make her parents proud.

So since Meera is staying at Abhishek's homestay, they have become pretty good friends. Abhishek has fallen in love with her but is heartbroken because Meera is Aman's fiance.

In recent episodes, Pant family comes to know Ramraj chacha had not paid the house tax for 3 years even though he used to take the money for that. Aman (who is also an IAS officer) was handling their case but Meera talked to him and got the extension. Now they have 1 month to pay 5 lakh. Riya and Sanjay's marriage functions are gonna take place in homestay so that advance will help in the tax payment. Today was Abhishek's birthday. He never celebrated his birthday since his father left but his cousins are planning a surprise party with Meera. They think he should have a party now that his father has also returned. They also think this party might help him talk to his father.

Now, Aman's parents are coming to meet Meera and she wants to make kheer to impress them so she borrows pant bhawan's kitchen for an hour.

Overall its a beautiful show. Everything about it is so soothing and charming.

Abhishek is a 25 year old boy who lives in devpur and manages his family of 14 person.his father had ran away 10 years earlier and youngest chachu had ran away with a rich girl.Abhishek wanted to become an engineer bt he had to leave her studies midway to take care of his family.

Meera is the daughter of a bureaucrat.she loves living in her own world.she is not good at studies and has done numerous courses bt still is unable tp decide what to do with her life.on the day meera failed again in graduation, her father asked her if she wants to marry as some conversation like that was going on.meera said yes thinking that meera's decision will make her papa happy.

Then meera set out to devpur to meet the boy Aman who is meera's elder sister's fiance 's cousin brother.
on reacging devpur meera lets her di and jiju spend some quality time together and decides to live alone in homestay.

onreaching the homestay,everyone thinks meera to be meenakshi,the girl who was supposed to meet pant family for an alliance with abhishek. All the family members starts asking questions and then when they see that meera is perfect for Pant family, they make her wear chunri and takes her to bhagwaan ji. meanwhile abhishek enters and is mesmerized to see meera.
Meera all this while was thinking that It is Homestay 's way of welcoming their guest.😆
Then meera and abhishek head out to talk.During their talk abhishek gets a hint that meera isn't meenakshi.and on reaching home,after a lot of confusion all gt to know that meera actually is. a guest.

Then meera goes to meet aman the next day and aman.Aman likes her and in the car,he was trying to touch meera romantically while Meera was completely uncomfortable with it and in this process,Aman's car crashed onto pant bhawan homestay and the wall breaks down.The wall was imp to Pant bhawan as some foreign delegation were to come to stay in the homestay. Aman and meera offered abhishek money bt abhishek didn't took it bt latee abhishek's chachu and chachi goes to take money from meera and meera gives them 30000 rupees which gets stolen by kapil, bt ramaraj(abhishek's chachu) tells abhishek that meera only gave 1000 rupees. abhishek although doesn't believe them bt wanted the family not to break and so didn't gave meera any moment to explain and dadi ask meera to leave pant bhawan homestay which meera does and she in rage didn't took anyone's help and set out to find her way on her own. meera gets a lift bt midway when the car stops somewhere to rest, she starts following a butterfly and loses her way to return.
Meanwhile abhishek gets to know that kapil had stolen the money

meanwhile meera in jungle calls rohan bt abhishek picks up the phone and abhishek gets to know that meera has lost her way and then sets out to find her.abhishek untimately reaches jungle and meet meera and tells her sorry for not giving her any moment to explain herself. Then meera decides to stay in homestay again.

After that there were many thngs that happened and abhishek relized that he loves meera and wants to be with her.

I would request you to watch the all the episodes. what i have said is only gist of the story bt there are many meaningful conversation between abhishek and meera and some really cute scenes which will only make you fall in love with abhishek and meera

Do try watching the show from the beginning if you find the time, highly recommended. It will be a quick watch. So far there have been only 34 episodes so you should be able to catch up. You'll love it. Hope the summaries above by other members helped though if you are unable to watch the previous episodes.

Thank you Sahiba_07, Divanishraru and Canuck-umz for the briefing. Really appreciate it. I only watched Meera planning b'day scene last week and was intrigued. I am yet to watch the previous episodes and I hope I will watch it in the coming weekends.
