Aug 25th: The Remote Connection

What stands out the most in this show right now is the almost indescribable ease with which they've managed to establish the friendship and connection b/w Abhi-Meera.

Like today...Meera continues her "Sir" waali taunting mischievously enough, Abhi feels bad, still helps her get her paper back...and later on says that falling didn't hurt as much as her calling him "Sir" all the time...instead of retorting that he started it by calling her Ma'am, Meera happily gives in saying she won't call him "Sir" anymore...and that is it, no long winded explanations needed...again an understanding b/w them.

There were some pretty sweet, understated. and poignant bits sprinkled into the Abhi-Meera scenes today...

1) Meera using Abhi as back support mazey sešŸ˜†...he was trying to move away from her but she kept leaning back and finally he gave in too and settled against her backšŸ˜†

2) Meera ka star counting gyaan was totally random but she managed to divert Abhi's attention from his troubles.

3) The bit about the remote was a very nicely written piece of dialogue..."Kaash main remote hoti...kyunki woh ek hi cheez hai jiske kharaab hone pe log uski peeth thapthapaate hain"...kitni door ki sochi logic, man...kudos to the dialogue writer...lol...you'd never think of a remote that way...but Meera who has spent her whole life feeling like a misfit, she would ofcourse view a random object like that.

What was surprising was Abhi becoming candid for a moment with her there and musing how they are both remotes who have never been given a pat on the back by anyone in their life.

And the very next moment, ever so cutely, Meera gives Abhi a pat on the backšŸ˜†...and he returns the favor...lol very cute and refreshing bit...

4) Meera in utter shock that Abhi called her SAMAJHDAAR...lol saying she's not used to hearing ppl associating that word with her.

5) Meera gushing profusely ki where was Abhi all this time...lol he's the first guy/person she doesn't feel stupid around, who actually makes her feel intelligent...adorable expressions from Namita in this bit...and Abhi looked so charmed by her antics yet again.

LOL@ Meera having to pull a compliment out of him in return and he finally admits that it's true, he feels happier around her.

6) The "Sir" thing becoming a reality...lol Abhi actually becoming Meera ka teacher...haha nice touch...given that he's the only person who's ever managed to get through to her, it would make sense that he could find a way to teach her through rhymes. Meera looked so delighted to be able to learn something.

Goes to show how well two people can compliment each other...Meera thought herself to be hopelessly unmotivated and beyond teachable...but Abhi gets through to her, helps her discover her abilities...similarly, Abhi is so used to being in a shell, he doesn't think he has it in him to dream and be happy...but Meera pulls that out of him somehow.

PrecapšŸ˜†...Phir se SRK pose...lol what do I even say...dunno who's dream this is...maybe Meera's...given all the SRK posing happening in it.

"I love you" bada heartfelt tha...hug seemed good toošŸ˜†

Will get back to you after dinner šŸ˜†

-- Unres'd 😳

I have never been so amused with the friendship between a meant-to-be lead pair before! It's all being shown with quite the simplicity, mirroring how our real lives often shape out to be like. I like the lack of tadka you can say šŸ˜†

The dialogues by Meera today were just amazing. Kudos to the writer! And kudos to Namita for portraying Meera so beautifully as well! That scene was perfect with two wonderful actors!

I was dying when she called samajhdaar a gaali :P How adorable she is?

It is with such ease that dialogues like, "laalchi insaan" and etc. go with the rapport that Abhi and Meera have with one another. Really the execution of their story has been going beyond my expectations. It's only with eagerness on my part that I wait for the story to proceed in the direction of the main plot.

I'm suuuper excited to watch tomorrow's episode! Usually I wait till the evening to watch the episode, but I'll most likely be catching the morning telecast
[morning for me is when the actual telecast is aired in India, just to clarify :P]

I wonder if that's the hug that they were designing for 3 hours, and which turned the two of them into "huggers" as Namita cutely blurted šŸ˜†

I liked it.Finally, I appreciate a show which does communication and makes some base. This one did well with both Meera and Abhi, basic stuff but so endearing. They both steal those precious moments with each other where they are normal just themselves and a bit selfish for the happiness and this bond. I like it.
Good solid dialogue writing too , I want the makers to know this is their USP and run with it. How do these two grow together in this relationship and bond as individual and as a pair..if handled well, this could be special.

Meera is little pixie but has a broken wing while Abhi is like that child who is told to stay indoors while he wants to play with his mates outside..you see how they both can see each other and be Sir-Madam in life lessons.

Hug toh Hug hai.

Meera and Abhi have formed a small world for themselves where they can forget all their problems and just be themselves. They have reached a stage where they are always seeking each other out.

The gazebo scene leaves you with a warm and fuzzy feel. Meera's 'Sir" spoken with great emphasis everytime got to AbhišŸ˜† Bechara got so hurt by that formal treatment that he said Sir hurt him more then the fall.awwwšŸ˜› (Meera asking him ab haath dene ke liya alag se application dena padegašŸ˜† log hadbada jaatey hai Meera vachan sun karšŸ˜†)

There is such a sweet moment when Meera leans into Abhis back, he is a bit hesitant at first and then gets relaxed and smiles. They have got each others back literally and figuratively.

Lol at Meeras reaction when Abhi calls her samajhdar.šŸ˜† She is so guileless very happily telling him nobody has ever called her that.šŸ˜†

Only Meera can come up with such remote control analogy:) Loved the bit where Meera pats him so gently on the back. She is so adorable in this bit. Abhi also turns around and pats her ever so sweetly.

Precap: Thats one heck of a dreamšŸ˜† Huggers are herešŸ˜† The hug part seems so real 😳

Hey All. Have following the show for quite a while, but Posting here for the first time, have been reading posts of yours since a few days. Your analysis are an enjoyable read.
Coming to the show, Meera might be the reason who attracted me to the show, but Priyansh is the show stealer for me, after watching his portrayal as the pain and responsibility bearing Abhishek, he is too good, totally applaud worthy.. šŸ‘...

Wednesday episode, there was this scene where he keeps on probing Meera if she spoke with Aman, but in a state of urgency she shrugs off saying that he isn't good friend as of now for her to do such a favour, the pain and disappointment portrayed by PJ was just beautiful. I used to catch his previous show but never recognised he is that good as an actor. The Aarti scene where his long lost father makes an entry, it was badly directed, I guess. Couldn't relate with it much. Only consolation was Abhishek's expressions and his chacha stumping Yograj with the right questions.

Yesterday's episode, Abhi-Meera scene their entire conversation had such a heartwarming feel about it. Could see that they're growing on each other gradually. Initially when Meera mocks him with the formality formality game, Abhishek looks disinterested, once they fall down together his pretense also falls. They enjoy the moment laughing together not bothered about the surrounding. Beautifully enacted by PJ and Namita.ā¤ļø As she starts talking about his father, the expression change was so evident. He doesn't want to talk about his father, but Meera being such a naive girl, goes on imagining about how cute their family moments would have been. He looks disinterested once againšŸ˜†..
The dialogues on how she wanted to be a remote control which isnt mocked for its fault and Abhishek saying maybe we both are like those remote controls which haven't yet been patted on the back was my favorite.. Kudos to the dialogue writer and also Priyansh and Namita for giving such an awesome performance āļø

I've been waiting for this since Monday. Finally!!! Worth it!!!
Kudos to the writers šŸ‘!!!
You know.. It was the usual trip fall routine that most shows follow .. What sets it apart is what came after that. Be it the jungle sequence or even yesterday's fall n catch routine.. They didn't dwell on it too long. The emphasis was always on how these two communicated after that.
And you are so right... The ease with which they've developed the friendship is indeed indescribable.. It's like it was always meant to be this way.

I've always believed that even when opposites attract.. There is always some common thing/ feeling/ interest that bonds the twov people.. That forms the foundation of their relationship. They've shown it so beautifully here between the two. They may seem two different personalities on the outside but they have one thing in common.. They yearn to be themselves.. Accepted to be who they are and not to pretend something for the sake of the family.

I'll always remember Meera when I ' that thapofy ' my remote next time it doesn't workšŸ˜†šŸ˜†

Abhishek has never really opened up with his problems with her right!! She has always managed to get a smile out of him during tough times.. But she has never really thought about what equation he shares with the elders of his family.. Why he had to quit studies... Why he isn't too excited to meet his father.
I'm sure it'll be a track that'll be handled later
.bas aisehi soch rahi thi.
Oh I like the ' arrey o lalchi insaan:'šŸ˜†
I think I can go on... Every dialogue was šŸ‘.

@ hug- hmmm one of the few not really excited about it unless they follow it up with some nice convo between the two.

the episode was adorableā¤ļø
The I am an engineer part was šŸ’”
bt Abhishek -meera scene was
I watched AbhEera scene 5 times on a loop
the dialogues, the expression, the breezy feeling -everytime i see that I just can't get enough of it
Meera with her atrangi baatein is too adorable šŸ˜†

Initially when meera was calling abhishek,"sir",he disliked it and was just helping her and then after the fall said it that it hurted him when she called him "sir".
And then the conversation started.
Meera leaning back on abhishek scene was so cute.

These two seem like two kids who are putting on pretense in front of everyone bt they find happiness in each other and I am loving that they are having proper conversation and their base is being made.I want them to be more in friends zone.Do not rush the love story.

Couldn't find your thread for today's episode Anu!! So replying here.
I think I'll be one of the few who found even the dream and the whole srk love smitten thing totally out of place!!!
Did they insert it last min just for the sake of it? He could have talked to her about the entire Aman favor thing first. Par suddenly srk pose n all was
I'm not taking about the execution, PJ's expression e etc etc.. They were all good.. BUT.. WAS it even necessary at THIS point of time???
I could have waited few more epis.. N few more conversations between the two for this realization.. Sighhh.

Rohan Meera Abhishek Mona scene was good. Lol at Mona's dialogues. Meera Abhishek scene that followed was normal.. See that's what I want to see.
Again the voiceover of Abhishek was out of place since I found the realization too early.
