Correct me if I'm wrong, but the show "Reporters" which aired on Sony sometime back also was not very popular, but still ended up with around 130 episodes right? Though I guess that's not a whole lot for a daily show. Hope BBKD is given a fair chance, but the writers/team do need to really step it up, regardless of the TRP's.

Dude, ikr? I mean, they haven't even reached upto 50 episodes yet... How can the channel be already pressurizing them? Does this happen to all the shows? If it does, it's so unfair and so not surprising that most shows try to give what the audience wants in the first 50 episodes itself, vis a vis an intense love story with bad boy-good girl that can never ever go wrong- just change the names and characters around and you have assured TRPs. No wonder shows like Ishqbaaz etc are doing great. I'm also guilty of watching and enjoying such shows, but BBKD was just sooo refreshing, it almost felt like a revolution to indian TV, on a prime time channel.

I'm wondering now whether we overestimated the creative abilities of the team and it was limited only until here or the channel has overriden their creative freedom. If it's the former I don't think we can do anything...but I don't know why I'm feeling it's the latter and that they will manage to repair the damage eventually. Let's see what happens this week. We have all the BTSes to compare, lol..we'll be able to atleast guess how much they changed .

@sinamika...haha, you aren't offending me one but by talking crap about Ishqbaaz, I don't watch that show myself but I saw the scenes and stuffs so I just guessed it might be something that the audience likes...gul ke shows are like that only. I also liked one longg time back just coz it had my fav actress in it, sigh...the things we do for love 😆.

@genie: oh, it was even shot before they aired it? Wow, no wonder it retained the quality right till the end. And same, I also hope they give the show its stipulated run time.

@swth: there was an article stating it's a finite show? Do share the link if you find it. Hmm, this does explain the rush, but abhi 200 epis ke liye time hai, why are they rushing from now itself?
