Randeep's character literally had nothing to do for him to be able to perform. There was no plan for his character other than show him brooding, serious and sober, and no actor can just play a character that barely has any dialogues and just broods all the time and make it look interesting. Randeep has potential, but balaji clearly had no plan for a proper story when doing this leap, so it was bound to fail, on top of it they hired niti, who unfortunately just can't hold your attention as a viewer as she can't really act and is always super hyper and loud in scenes. So that's why this leap failed. No story was ever thought of in first place, and characters were never given a strong arc for the actors to perform.

In the leap cast I knew only Leenesh & Randeep. Randeep from ‘Yeh Undinom ki bath hai’ & Leenesh from Ishqbaaz. Anchal & the rest of the characters were already there pre-leap.

I had no clue about Niti or Pooja. Never watched their work. Personally for me Niti would suit a more bubbly young adult character. I had no clue why they made her character mature all of a sudden. At the start of the leap she was a young adult having deep emotional issues & longing for the love, approval of a parent. I say parent because she was never shown to have any conversations with LK’s wife when the show started. The writers had huge potential to show how they worked around it & then make them a happy family. Instead they chose a short cut! Boom - three years leap. She had to be shown mature, business woman, madly in love with Josh until Raghav entered back. Once Raghav came back she found her comfort zone & wanted to chill. Raghav had to become the angry young business man because he was humiliated by LK & family. Niti uses her hands a lot & had long nails(og/ fake i don’t know) which irked me more. Whenever she talks she uses her hands a lot. Leenesh also didn’t have much of a character change from his IB role. Same goofy self. It suited him well & his scenes with Pooja were much better. Pooja & Hiten’s scene were in general not bad too.

Randeep was good as the poor guy in love with the princess but post the 3 years leap he just fizzled as the powerful business man. He never could carry the aura of success! I guess for practically 2 weeks he had to just stay silent and had 1 dialogue that all I care about is my work!! Seriously he failed for me there. He was still ok, post he started talking to other people. So in my opinion he is ok for jovial scenes but needs to stand his ground when doing serious roles.

Niti is cute but the girl was overshadowed by others in terms of acting. To begin with it was so difficult to understand her character, thrown on us out of no where! Then she being a doormat! I never could root for her.

Even the scene few days back when she is laughing and then she cries was not effective at all. That scene had potential but I could not feel the heart or soul in the scene. Her talli roles were also very superficial!

Again like Randeep she thrived in scenes which are regular but couldn't elevate the scenes further.

The love story between them was week, I never understood why we should be invested in them. By story I don't only mean the storyline, the intensity was also missing in terms of acting.

They looked cute! Wish they could act well too.

Ps: Niti needs to stop saying in interviews that she worked hard or don't blame the actors! Just learn from it and move on.

Niti just could not accept that besides having such a huge online fandom why Balaji is closing shop with this gen leap in season 2.

The over use of hands as gestures while talking is not so appealing with such long nails. They could have made her get a shorter nails but still well done nails.

Phew, thank God I'm not alone in this. These nails are terribly distracting and don't fit the character's image. Disha wore her manicure, but he was always quite careful and even cute hearts were quite consistent with Priya - a serious and strong personality, deep down yearning for love and understanding. That is, a person does not betray his own taste, but understands where he is.

And these nails of Niti do not correspond at all with her Prachi, she is all so vulnerable and romantic, lonely, but her nails scream about the life of a rebel teenager, guarded by her mother, father, uncles, aunts, grandmothers, grandfathers and 10 other relatives, tying her precious ass with a gold ribbon

@bold - 🤣🤣🤣

I only wish her good luck but she did not connect with me as Prachi. Prachi’s character had serious emotional trauma & the way they sketched her was like a teenager & not a young adult.

I like Niti,but the problem with her is she doesn't get into the role to fit herself..instead she is same in every role..maybe as she was Nandhini intially everyone loves her..but if she had done something before and became Nandhini,maybe in KYY also she would have not been greeted.

Every character has a different flair. Niti really never show cased those underlying emotions. She was always fun and bubbly which made no sense!

She is really cute but she needs to increase her acting range.
