It's coz it's RAM. The glorification of the character is rubbing off on the audience. Yahin agar Pri Adi(from PKDH) ke saath karti yaa Shivaay ke saath, toh woh Tashan hota.

Ram is a soft boi and people expect the characters around him to behave that way, nd everyone (even Nandu, atleast to his face) treat him that way. Mami is just annoying and can be ignored, but when Priya does it, she shouldn't, she should just go along with whatever Ram says.

Again, Priya isn't toxic, she is tough.

Now . we know why she is in his Kurta. What all we were thinking. By the way any symbolism attached to it. She gets to know abt his past after she wearing his kurta...and that too from her own sister who was partly a cause for her to loose trust in love and life.

I have always seen her , listening to him most of the times, she does go a bit irritating here and there, but understands his wishes most of the times Ram says Neeraj se mat baat karna, she says fine. He says bhai isko ye khana nahi pasand hai she yes. He says drink mat karna,mere sath karna she says yes.

She has been wrong with her father's truth and thats where she deserves a lot of criticism, a lot of. It was irritating to see Ram went on and on and on about her truth and how she got her father arrested and there was not an ounce of guilt when it comes to her hiding this truth. I am not sure if its Disha the actor's fault or the writer/director.

Sab log from Pri's family make Priya sound like she is tough because it was the last option, no, it was her CHOICE, she chose to be like this and it should be a norm.

But when Ram does something, thaali bajate hai 9 baje log🤣
