As per the plan priya was suppose to think that ram is buying that blue saree for someone and that someone will turn out to be vedika. So plan successful. Now priya is conflicted and hurt.

I get about the intended conflict. But Ram wondering why shd be a natural side-effect. How can anyone not wonder in this situation? How can they show the ML sooooo dumb?

But tonight I was rewatching done scenes and the first thing priya said about her cloths was " i am wearing what Mr.kapoor wants" and ram goes like" hain? Mene kab kaha ye pehnne ke liye".

He doesnt know that Priya is wearing a no-love marriage tagg in the interview in the form of that dress. In the last interview they showed that they are happy, convincing everyone that deal=love. But tonight priya is telling him there is no love.

He knows something is wrong but doesn't know that what Priya is saying is related to that night. Priya will have to adress it herself for him to understand.

Remember Ram is completely stupefied. I don’t think he will get it right away; he needs more time to process what Pri said; he knows very well that all the cues were for him to figure out what she is trying to say.

Here are the pointers:

This dialogue of his is prominent: "Priya ka woh aankhon ka ishaara hota hai naa ... us ek pal mein mujhe sab kuch samajh aata hai."

This is important b/c if she reacts to seeing Viper in the saree and glances at Ram, he will get the hint.

Also, if Sara/Bri tells him to recall the conversation, they had on their first date and Pri’s multiple emphases on truth (sacchai) and how she hates lies, then Ram will get why she wore the "no-love possible" dress.

Like her's this one: "Sach chahe kitni bhi karwa ho main bardaasht kar skti hoon, bas jhoot nehin bardaasht hoti."

So he will get that this dress she wore is to remind her to accept the reality.

Remember his monologue - "kya hai uss paar Priya, kya sunana chahti ho mujhe ... ky ishaara de rahi ho?"

Once the water is settled, he will get it. I want him to Break Down completely. He needs it. He has all bottled up emotions in his heart for 20 years, and if he doesn't cry hard, all those emotions inside will kill him.

In the shivratri Pooja she is wearing gajra with red saree so when Priya goes to change after not getting the gift ram asks her from behind to not take off the gajra and after a minute he says again that usne gajra lagaya hai ADI gift kaha hai vo gajra nikal degi.

So I thought he had planned something special for gajra that's why he doesn't want priya to take it off.

But @doodle pointed out that was bcz this night was considered their second suhaag raat so he was expecting * ahem ahem* between.🤣and wanted to take it off himself and that's why he gifted priya a red saree too, which nandini took and hid.

I think he was thinking of a small playing with gajra and hair moment... isse jyada sochta toh Pri khidki se seedha neeche phenk deti.

I got the epiphany of the Shivi and Pri scene – couldn’t pinpoint a finger on that earlier.

Near the stairs, Pri was contemplating whether this is the right time for the truth to come out or not and Ram comes to greet her but before him, Shivi comes to Pri and asked for forgiveness for Akki.

Exactly in that moment, Viper and maami, both guests, start ransacking Shikki’s room for the same kangan.

Ransacking a daughter's room, adopted daughter, and son of Ram-Pri (Shiv-Parvati metaphorically). I loved the placement of Ram-Pri standing as dad-mom when their daughter (Shivi) came with the request. Fantastic!

It was an ABSOLUTE ghar ki beti ki beizzati. Such disrespect to a daughter. This is pure SIN what they did.

Now, I think this exact same scene will definitely play out on Holika Dahan and I think Viper’s clothes will be burnt.

I didn’t realize the writers are actually this good. 👏👏👏

They say naa Fire consumes all. Water cleanses it

V becomes victim of her own fire

Water - Remember in the pooja, they did many dharas on Shiv/Parvathi ;)

Unfortunately, there are situations where one truth cannot be revealed at the same time as the other, I feel sorry for both Ram and Priya, there are too many things pressing on them.

But thanks to the understanding you mentioned, things will gradually get better.
