Slow burn 🔥: my 2 cents 🙏

I have been a silent reader of this forum for few days and have noticed that many of us our questioning that when the leads will be together. But that is answered in the title track itself. The track says :

dheere dheere haule haule

chupke se ab hoga

kehte hain yeh pyar jisse hum

naa jaane kab hoga

So when I started watching the show, I knew it will be an epic moment when the leads will be together. I expected a slow cracking Bridgeton style romance to brew between the leads for a long time before the confession. And the cvs are trying to seep the romance little by little in the relationship but and a very big BUT is the slow burn 🔥 is spoilt by all non-sensical subplots and now they are cooking kachoris on the romance ka fire 😂. I mean why cannot we have a show, where the leads take their time to fall in love but they are guided to it by their own emotions. With no Shubhu, Akki, papa, Vedika, Meera ma, Nandani Mom, mami1, Mami 2🤣. I think I even feel friends and pro Raya team can play a mature role in Ram and Priya’s life. They don’t need to tease them like college students, wasn’t it supposed to be a mature love story. I know, this will be an unpopular opinion but people in late 30,s and early 40s don’t behave like that.

I completely agree with you. There are too many illogical negative tracks which doesn't make any sense. 95% of people in late 30s don't behave this way and late marriages are plenty these days. I have never understood why they needed so many negative characters to show as outside influence creating challenges in a marriage. One single strong antagonist would have been enough. Now they even started adding props (Kachori) as antagonist 🤣

I hope the writers take the Kachori drama (no matter how cringe it is) to redeem themselves and get it to what they promised in the promos… they can use these MU’s to show some heart to heart conversations like they had when both were intoxicated. Just that now they should be in their senses, and conversation becomes difficult so it may not necessarily be words, they can show how they start knowing each other, understanding each other some small scenes like the FF’s. Not sure why they need the villains or friends as the catalysts to progress a love story, there is so much more.

And if they want to delay the confessions it is still ok, anyways it needs time to know the other person and while one may be in love already the realisation definitely strikes quite late. So without crass villains and their utter dumb plans… the story can still progress while the two deal with their pasts, stand by each other and help each other to heal. Als! It would need a lot of mature thinking and confidence that if you give good content all else will follow… which includes TRP too.

High hopes and clichéd opinion by now, but no harm is hoping
