It is understandable that he is feeling insecure and jealous that his wife on his birthday is paying special attention to her ex. That instead to wishing him first she leaves the party to come inside and doesn't even go to him to tell that she planned it. then he sees neeraj there telling her how much he still cares about Priya and how Ram is not treating her right as she was standing alone in the party. That neeraj is targeting both of their insecurities at the same time.

I understand Ram, but what I meant was whatever be the reason, I have seen he cant stand Neeraj, he was immature though cute in rejecting a food item that her sister made for her, just because Neeraj got it for him and Neeraj said he knows Priya likes it...I got Ram there , you know he does not like the aspect of Neeraj knowing Priya better than him, Neeraj seeing her in worst and best, but if he dislikes the aspect of their name being taken together, he should also not allow Vedika near him in general. In the same house I am fine with, because she has been treated badly and its his mother and wife's decision, but atleast deny her holding your arms that way, now not because it is wrong, but because you wont like when Priya would hold Neeraj that way to surprise him..RIght? thats my issue too... now if priya reacts about ram vedu relationship, is completely justifiable. Bcz all the time they were so close n vedika pointed out few times them as speical something about their relationship, could trigger the fire. Its actually cheating cz priya was accused everytime neeraj was on the frame. Plus ram told her directly he wont be able to love anyone else except his first love and he is always behaving odd around vedika. So rams actions are not honest, he is deceiving indirectly.

@green well I feel like that Ram has been careful of keeping his distance from vedika until nandini brings him home even in his quarantine he never once asks about her or after he comes back pays her any attention until they start instigating him against priya and neeraj. He has been very respectful of Priya w.r.t vedika until his birthday track. And I feel like once he knows that vedika lied he finally will start to see her true face.

@bold yes you are. That's why I'm saying yes he is hypocritical right now. His actions are not justified but understandable. This all makes me angry too with ram. I'm in no way defending him here.

Well I know where you are coming from honestly I feel the same but do get ram as well.

He gets insecure for Priya because with vedika he was very easy and free and Shashi took advantage of that. So now he gets really uncomfortable and offensive when any other male pays any compliment or attention to Priya. He doesn't want anyone taking priya away from him, and because they haven't confessed yet or talked about their feelings for each other, I think he feels like if ever given a chance priya might just leave him because she doesn't have any emotional attachment to ram. And for him thinking that Priya is paying attention to neeraj on his birthday it's like all his fears are coming true.

Ram's hypocrisy here is on another level. Dude keeps his godforsaken ex in his own home, and also does not extend the courtesy of telling his wife about his previous history with this ex, and then he has the audacity to be angry about Priya supposedly hanging out with her ex, who for heaven's sake is now her brother in law. And didn't Ram himself defend Priya telling Adi that he knew Priya would never hurt her own sister and that there was nothing more to look into with Neeraj and Priya's interactions? After knowing Vedu true relationship with ram. Priya is going to go in full on I don't care about your relationship before marriage but now also you don't trust me.

She may pretend that she doesn't care but will be deeply hurt.

As ram also said he can't move on from his first love.she will unnecessary compare herself with Vedu.

@bold I think some part of that conversation is edited out in the promo. Ram could never behave this dismissive of Priya. Also maybe there is conversation between Priya and neeraj that is not in the promo which justifies his actions. We can only know after tonight's episode.

The whole of Ram family is making him think Priya is still chummy with his jiju/ex. She doesn't care about him. They also try to make Priya feel bad about crediting her whole plan to Vedu but Ram and Priya are different here.

Ram really listens to everyone around him so much , so he is acting up on the other hand Priya only cares what Ram thinks. She doesn't want him to misunderstood her.
