Priya Drabble: Different

Not all men are the same, she had heard it, but she never believed it. She watched him dance with his friend, and flashes of her father holding another woman's hand came to her. She wanted to scoff at the person who had said that all men are different.

But she knew that both the situations were different. Her father cheated on her mother because he never cared for her; he was beyond caring for any of them. But Mr. Kapoor did care for Priya, and in these few months of their marriage, he had made that clear.

But the pain she felt was the same. That stab she felt, right at her heart, was the same. The broken pieces of trust were the same. The pain was blinding, and she wanted to scream and cry, but she hadn't cried then, and she wouldn't cry now. Her strength had been the same, even if the men who hurt her were different.

I know I am jumping the gun, but angsty drabbles are my jam, and this is inspired by a post made on the EDT. So hope you like it. Please drop down your comments as they encourage me to write more.

This is exactly one of my fear for Raya. Priya feeling cheated because he gave importance to vedika or she feeling like another woman after watching the video. Because it won't be good in either cases.

Priya's pain is portrayed beautifully and truthfully, if only in the series Ram quickly convinced her that she is worthy of love and is not the second between someone

The worst part is that he actually does convince her by telling her that she is attractive and worthy and stuff and then does nonsense like dancing with his ex🤦‍♀️

This is all his love offense. Take at least today. A person openly before himself and the world burned only one person - Priya. How Ram almost buried poor Adi on the spot is a separate topic. And love is to blame for everything, he doesn't even try to hide his emotions, he just didn't give them a name

Thanks, but i can only think of this much🙈 I hope CVs stop attacking Priya like she is their punching bag and give her some happy moments with Ram😍
