It's been more than 8 months into their marriage. They have still not named their feelings for eachother. They respect and trust eachother,they both share everything with eachother but haven't understood their feelings as love yet.
Anyone by seeing them together for 2 minutes can understand the love between them but they both were so obtuse when it came to love. Their friends and family stopped playing cupid between them as they felt both Ram and Priya will find the way on their own.
It's a random Sunday, Priya was busy in preparing questions for the upcoming exams while her husband was busy in a conference call.
After finishing their work,both went together to have their lunch.
Priya got back to their room after completing her lunch, Ram just kept observing her. After completing his lunch Ram came to their room with a fresh juice in his hands.
Ram: Priya have this juice
Priya: Mr. Kapoor why did you bring this, just now I had my lunch right.
Ram knelt beside her as she sat at the foot of their bed.
Ram: you know,you can share anything with me priya,what is keeping you bothered and you didn't eat anything properly in lunch.
Priya just kept looking at him,while he forcefully made her to drink the juice.
Ram: Now tell me priya what is bothering you.
Priya: I don't know Mr.Kapoor but I don't feel good. I strongly feel like something unpleasant is going to happen.
Ram: like a premonition
Priya: yes Mr.Kapoor and I don't feel good about it.
Ram: you are just overthinking Priya, you should get some sleep. Everything will be alright once you get a good sleep.
Saying he made her lie in the bed and covered with a quilt.
Ram: close your eyes and sleep Priya. Everything is fine and I will be near you. Call me if you want anything.
Priya just nodded her head in yes and closed her eyes but she can't shake off her gut feeling. She dozed off thinking about this.
Ram got a call a from his assistant asking him to attend a meeting at hotel as their foreign client whom they had to meet tomorrow is getting back to his country today due to some family emergency.
Ram agreed to it and asked his assistant to confirm the meeting.
Ram got ready and was about to exit the room when Priya woke up startled and came running to him.
Ram: Priya kya hua
Ram kept on asking her but she kept looking at him with tear filled eyes.
When Ram shaked her, she came out of her stupor.
Priya: where are you going Mr. Kapoor?
Ram: There is an emergency meeting Priya. I will be back in 2 hours.
Priya: No..
Ram: what
Priya: Don't go anywhere Mr. Kapoor, I don't feel good.
Ram: Priya this is an important meeting,just for two hours. You get some sleep while I will be back before you can wake up from your nap.
Saying so he was about to move,when her hold on his right hand tightened.
Priya : Then I will come with you Mr. Kapoor. Drop me in any temple nearby your meeting place.
Ram: but Priya
Priya: Mr. Kapoor please, I insist.
Ram : okey get ready and come. I will wait for you in the car.
Priya: Thank you Mr.Kapoor.
Priya went to get ready while Ram got confused with her actions as she is not the one to have any superstitious beliefs, thought of asking her once the meeting got over.
Soon Ram went to attend the meeting after dropping Priya in the temple which was opposite to hotel where his meeting was held.
After finishing his meeting,ram called and and informed about him waiting outside the hotel for her.
Priya who came out of the temple searched for husband,that's when she noticed him playing with small baby girl.she stood adoring him seeing his funny ways to make the toddler smile. That's when the toddler threw her bunny toy in the road and cried for her toy. Seeing her crying for the toy, Ram immediately turned to pick it up while talking to the baby girl in which he missed to see a fast approaching car towards him which Priya noticed. Seeing him carelessly bending down in the road Priya shouted his name and started running towards him.
Hearing her shout, he straightened to see her and then within a fraction of second everything happened. Priya came towards him and pushed him safely away from the car at right time but got hit by the same car. He stood there rooted to his place seeing the blood flowing out from her body. He came out his stupor when she tried to call him through her hand.
He immediately ran to her and hugged her close to his hearts and started blabbering.
Ram: Priya you can't leave me alone, nothing will happen to you when I'm there. Be with me priya Don't close your eyes, see me priya
Saying so he tapped her face to keep her awake and simultaneously shouted at everyone to call an ambulance.
Priya gave a tired smile listening to him.
Ram: Nothing will happen to you Priya.
Priya: you should have listened to me Mr. Kapoor.
Ram: don't strain Yourself, be quiet and just look at me.
At the same time, an ambulance came and soon Priya was admitted in the ICU.
Ram just stood outside the ICU lifelessly seeing his Priya struggling for her life.
Adi and Brindha were the first one to come to the hospital,as Ram's driver informed adi about the happenings.
They both tried to make him speak,but he just stood lifelessly.
After few hours, everyone from their family and friends crowed around the ICU.
Few moments later, doctor came out of the room and informed them Priya still being in critical condition and they have to wait for 24 hrs before coming to any conclusion.
This made Priya' s mother and sisters to wail loudly. Ram went and saw his wife in vulnerable condition, just kept looking at her pale face for few minutes,then turned around and started walking outside the hospital without saying anything.
Adi,vik, Kunal followed him but he asked them to leave him alone for few hours. They understood his situation and allowed him to do what he want.
He unknowingly walked to the tea stall where they both had their first roadside tea. He smiled remembering her teaching him how to eat the bun maska along with the tea. He sat in the bench of the tea stall without uttering a word.
He sat there in silence with a blank mind when the music played at the near by shop hit his ears..

She took care of him for a week when he was down with viral fever.Never once showed any displeasure to take care of him. His mother came to see him only once and asked him to take care of himself . His mom asked doctor to provide him a nurse to take care of him. It was his Priya who took the matter into her hand and asked everyone to get out politely as she can very well take care of her husband. The next one week she went out of their only to cook for him, otherwise she will be near him talking about anything,she even read for him. He even asked her to allow someone to give him a sponge bath as he felt she will feel uncomfortable since he haven't had his shower for more than 3-4 days,he felt dirty himself with all the perspiration.
But she strictly asked him to shut up as she didn't feel any uncomfortable and Taking care of him is her rights. He smiled thinking about her authorative tone which indirectly asked him to shut up.
