Prologue
"When did you come to know about this?" He asked looking straight into her eyes.
"At nearly 2 AM, someone called on my number and informed that his car has been found unassisted." She replied determined.
"And your husband?"
"He was nowhere to be found."
"You didn't file a police complaint?" He asked again.
"I wanted to, but his brother said he will try to find him first." She replied in a choked voice.
"Where were you in between 10-11 PM that night?"
"As I said earlier, I was at my home, sleeping."
"Track her phone location." He ordered and left the room.
Priya Sood was fed up with life. Everything was going wrong for her. She hated her job, her landlord increased the rent means that she would have to leave her apartment, and now her fiance has disappeared without warning. His car was gone, and no one had seen him for days. Her friends assumed that he left her to start a new life, but she couldn't believe that. Their marriage was a happy one, and her husband isn't the type of man to abandon his family. No, something must have happened to him - she was sure of it. And will do whatever it takes to find him and bring him home.
Priya's journey of finding her husband landed her in the crime branch. She was a suspect in a crime. She wad a suspect of her husband's disappearance.
And the in charge of the case wasn't going to let her live in peace until the case his solved. He was the most efficient office in town - Senior Inspector Ram Kapoor.
