I don’t think that is wrong unless it is sought to be achieved by coercion, deceit or unfair ways. Every parent will wish for their children to have financial security, a comfortable life, a nice big house & luxuries. That desire by itself is neither wrong nor selfish.

Also, parents will try to see that their kids (esp girls as they go ‘into’ the other family & home) marry into compatible families with similar background status & lifestyle - this is so that adjustment problems will be minimal. That again is a completely rational & fair desire.

The problem with Nandini is not what she wants for Shivi (she prolly understands Shivi well as she herself might have been like her in youth), it is the means she adopts - manipulating Ram, bulldozing Shivi, throwing Priya under the bus, using Mami etc.

I did like Shivina in between but not from last 3-4 epi! She is not just spoiled but very selfish too. At least S1 Natasha cared for Ram at times and genuinely considered him her brother. S2 Shivina doesn’t care about Ram, she can blame Ram for everything but not for once she can appreciate Ram 🤪 She still prefers Shubhu over Ram, Shubhu the guy who always had issues with Akki but Ram married Priya so that she can marry Akii, she isnt even thankful about that! And I got so annoyed when she just left like this when Priya fell sick for real! Even Nandini cared for Priya a little. Damn sure Shivi gonna cause problems in her own marriage cause of her selfish nature. Tbh I like Shubhu more than Shivi 😆, at least Shubhu’s funny 🤣 It was hilarious when Shubhu said to Priya Ram bhai se shaadi karke aap bhi unke jaise ban gayi 🤣 Shubhu will be more lovable when he turns positive n i really want that. He doesnt seem to be evil kind just very dumb 🤣

It was bad move from Priya side to get sivi and akki married and all thanks to CV's Ram Priya 1st karwachot why it will happen without drama 🤣
