Sandy - very badly scripted Lady Whistledown

If you guys have followed Bridgetown, you can figure it out. The casting of the actor is in same lines as Penelope. Slightly chubby and cute to look at. But rather than her working in secret, they have shown her work in open.

Not impressed by this plot. Can ITV ever give an original track.

Exactly what I was thinking!!

What a slap to the whistle down character. If they were trying to copy whistle down in some way, at least do a better job with scripting. I’m not saying she has to write but just a more polished job of executing the character

I'm sorry but Sandy is no way like Penelope. Just because they have similar physical traits that doesn't make those characters same. If u have read the books then you would know why Penelope became Lady Whistledown and how much she achieved from it whereas Sandy is shown just as a comic relief side character

I respect yours, but i have my view point. In my opinion , this character is etched out post Bridgeton, Ekta has copied Hollywood badly in many series. (Notably : Naagin inspired by Avengers end Game :( )

Again in this case she has, copied the traits and dumbed it down and made it a cringe worthy affair.

I have never watched the Naagin series, but now I am curious 😆

Lol, one of the season finales…. All the old nagins from previous season came to fight back…. 🤣
