this is why i dont have much issues with meera

the day when she took stand for priya when freeloader mahendra was insulting priya like anything

that was when i had some hopes from meera

glad she didn't disappoint (yes she may act like a typical mom at times, but she cares for her daughters that's why)

and also i kinda understand why she let that freeloader allow to stay initially, cause the harsh reality is he is priya's biological father n if he wanted to do the rituals she couldn't stop him(but better late than never, she finally showed him the door)

n as for the dusri biwi, that freeloader and dusri biwi deserves each other 🤪(what kind of women she is, agreed to marry someone who disowned a lady for having 4 daughters, and she is actually proud of that, n insults meera for the same. my blood was boiling when she was talking nonsense to nandini when she was jogging, and even nandini was disinterested to talk with such third class people🤣)

I think Mahindar knows deep down that he is hurting his daughter Priya and that no father would do such a thing. He knows that his least responsibility as a father is to be part of his daughter's wedding and to give her away. He might think it's okay to redeem himself by asking Shashi to find a suitable groom for Priya after calling off the wedding. And i couldn't agree more; what really makes him think that Shashi would search for a groom on his request?
