Akki and Shivina- anyone else feel the same?

Is it just me who doesn't really feel Akki and Shivina's so called love?? The love for which Shivina broke off her engagement with a guy who would be perfect for her given her family status etc ? And for which she is ready to marry into a middle class family completely different from her own, even though she is not pregnant now?

And the love for which Ram and Priya are ready to marry each other even though they both had no intention of marrying?

I don't know why I just don't feel any love between them.. it looks and feels fake and random.. Given that this is the base on which the entire PriRa story will shape, it should have been developed better. Don't you all think so?

I wish makers would have given sometime to explore their characters a bit too before marrying them off... 🤔

it feels like every corner of this show is rushed including ram and priya's initial interactions. I was watching season 1 during the lockdown as the eps were on youtube and had such a laugh at the journey of ram and priya to their engagement. there were so many episodes! it didn't happen in 2 weeks without any buildup.

in season 2, every thing is so rushed that every character feels half baked and the motivations don't seem real. so akki and shivina relationship is also the same. we have not been given enough info or scenes with them to know what exactly motivates them, whether they are in love or just infatuated, what is their relationship dynamics...

Yes the makers are rushing the story a lot. Why are they in such a hurry? Is it because they want to get trps soon so they are fast forwarding to the marriage? Or is it because they feel that today's audience don't have patience to see a nice buildup of story?

I really want the show to slow down and makers to put effort in establishing the characters and their dynamics properly. Agree all this feels half-baked ...

No you are not alone in this i also feel that their love is not love but i will blame to PH and makers they are just rushing the show so much that as audiences we are not able to understand deeply about any character and connect with their stories

They just want to get married Ram and priya that why they rushing it and ruining it but i hope they will maintain and pick up the story after Ram Priya marriage

I agree! I remember Shivi and Nandinis conversation earlier where Nandini was like you will have such a comfortable life filled with riches if you marry Shashi's brother and Shivi was like "MArrying for money is so last season. Marrying for love is in". Or something along those lines.

I am wondering if it is done purposefully to showcase the journery of immature love and mature love and how at the end of the day the journey is different but destination is same.

I dont feel that Akki and shivina are truely in love...more like it feels forced. I mean may be they liked the idea... also I dont understand how Ram agreed to marry off his sister to a guy who doesnt have a stable job... he doesnt even have any projects to work on right now...

S1 was really beautiful... its fr no reason that people loved that show and still love it... Ram kapoor and sakshi were amazing and their chemistry was fab... besides all this the story was brilliantly plotted... every thing was kept in mind.. beautifully crafted... even the fact that Ram talks to PRiya's dad about his desire to do the arrangement of their marriage and wanting of AC in the hall as mandate😆

smallest of the small things were taken in consideration... I think this time the are actually rushing things up a bit..

Yes they are rushing to the marriage track.

I hope they have a lot planned after the marriage if they are rushing to it so much. Ok we will accept the rush but we should be rewarded with great story after the marriage atleast.

Tbh it is only through the dialogues of her infinite love for Akki that makers are trying to show how she is madly in love with him.. but it is falling flat as we see no real character development, no conversation between these two so called love birds, and no real chemistry too. Maybe I am expecting too much lol but whatever they are showing feels half baked..

That would be an interesting thing to see but even this immature love isn't really giving the feels. I mean I see zero chemistry between the two 🤔OKAY I will be optimistic and wait to see if they showcase the story properly after their wedding. Itni jaldi jo hai makers ko shaadi karane mein toh it better be worth it 🤪
