I didn't follow Nakuul or Disha much after PKDH. I did see Ishqbaaz for a few days but couldn't continue for long same with woh apna sa of Disha. But BALH is looking promising. Lets see kab tak dekh paati hun😆

I watched Ishqbaaaz for about one year and then stopped watching it. TBH it wasn't that good as a show and the hype was mainly due to the actors and lead parings which were actually great. The story itself was quite ridiculous and OTT after the first few months. Also I felt that Nakuul struggled as Shivaay at times.. those roles of tough angry young men don't really suit him much IMO. He is better as soft happy-go-lucky characters like Adi or Ram 😳

I am so happy seeing him do complete justice to Ram! He instantly made us connect with him ❤️

Also, Disha was so awesome! She surprised me and in such a good way

Just too happy seeing NaSha in these amazing roles .. 🥳

Hi all how was the episode

hmmm. I liked ep 1 on the whole. I found Priya to be more bitter than sarcastic in bits. the stuff she says are funny and rather amusing but still, like her students commented, she came across as frustrated at times. 😅 You can tell she covers up her loss and frustration in life by sarcasm and focusing on the negative rather than a naturally sarcastic person. And I was almost waiting for her to sprout on the economy of rain (for those who don't know, stock market in our country moves on metrological data on when the monsoon arrives because it affects all commodity prices -- so from that perspective, rain isn't just rain. 😃) so yes, for a monsoon driven agricultural economy, rain is a big deal and it is romanticized in our movies and dramas. yes, there are practical problems to monsoon but without monsoon, the economy would be severely affected. so why complain so much about rain? 😂 if anyone should be complaining, it should be the city council people who have to fix the drainage and deal with the problem of water clogging. 😂

but I must say that Ram's comment about vegan cakes made me chuckle -- if there is no maida, egg or butter, what exactly is it? 😂 I liked Ram other than wishing that he would cut his hair (which seems like a hairstyle stuck from years ago 😂)

I think Priya is supposed to come off as a frustrated and cynical character. She has suffered from heartbreak and that has made her a very practical person.

Also, I think that just as rain is romanticized, we should also show the unromantic side of rain, the mud, the water clogging, the dirt. While her disrupting a lecture for it was sort of extreme, the points she raised were quite valid I guess. And bechari baarish hone rok toh nahi sakti toh complain toh kar hi sakti hai 😂😂😂

I quite enjoyed the entire banter between Ram and Priya. I hope this is something that's kept intact in the future episodes too.
