'Haan'. Ram finally replied. 'Bohot kuch hai jo tum log nahi jaante ho'.

'Kya? Batao na!' Neha said.

'Pehle waada karo ki tum dono Priya se KUCH nahi kahoge'. Ram demanded.

'Ram, no'. Neha disagreed. 'Pehle tumhe batana padega. Agar aisa kuch ho jo Priya ko batana zaroori hai toh I will tell her, so mein tumse yeh promise nahi kar sakthi'.

'Neha!' Ram whined.

'Bata rahe ho ya mein Priya ko yahan lekar aaun taaki woh bhi toh sun lein ki tum kya bolna chaahte ho!' Neha threatened.

'Accha rukho'. Ram stopped her. 'Fine I'll tell you'.

Ram sighed and began explaining everything. 'US jaane se pehle...mein Priya se pyaar karne laga tha. Chaar saal ke liye dost the, before I went to US, aur mein Priya se pyaar karne laga aur usse bataana bhi chaahta tha lekin samajh mein hi nahi aaya ki kaise bataun usse. Before I could tell her, mujhe US jaana pada. I waited too long. Aur mujhe laga tha ki kaam bas ek-do mahine maximum ka hoga, I didn't know ki che saal lagenge waapas aane mein. Wahan jaakar mein apna kaam jaldi khatam karna chaahta tha, the company that we own in US had a lot of complications, lots of things that only I could fix being the eldest child of the Kapoor Family. Iss liye mein wahan gaya tha, woh bhi itne saal ke liye. Mein apna kaam jaldi khatam kar nahi paaya. Everyday there was a new issue that only I could solve, aur tab jaakar meine realize kiya ki I will be in New York for a long time. Then I met Sonali. Bilkul Priya ki tarah thi, shayad issi wajah se mujhe usse pyaar hua. Then we started dating..like you know, and hum dono shaadi karna chaahte the. Bohot gehra pyaar tha hum dono ke beech mein. Sonali ne insist kiya ki hum dono New York mein hi shaadi kar lein, lekin shaadi karne se pehle mujhe ek baar Priya se milna tha. We came here, and I dropped off everything at US. Sab kuch chodkar Sonali ke saath yahan aa gaya, and then...Priya ko aise uss haal mein dekhkar...I couldn't get married looking at her like this. I told Sonali that Priya was going through a tough phase, aur woh samajh bhi gayi thi. Lekin...aisa kuch nahi hai jaise ki tum log soch rahe ho, mein Priya ko uss nazar se ab nahi dekhta. I am past that point, ab mein sirf Sonali se pyaar karta hoon...but...sabse badi baat yeh hai ki Sonali chaahti hai ki mera aur Priya ka yeh dosti waala rishta khatam ho jaayein'.

'What?' Neha spat.

'Haan'. Ram confirmed. 'She doesn't like Priya that much. Pehle toh she found Priya nice and all, lekin ab usse Priya zyaada pasand nahi hai'.

'Yeh kaunsi problem mein tu phas gaya Ram?' Vikram grumbled.

'Sonali tumse pyaar karti hai, lekin tum Priya se pyaar karte ho, lekin Sonali chaahti hai ki tum Priya se nahi milo? This is really like some sort of a teenage love story Ram'. Neha exclaimed.

'Yaar usse kahin zyaada complicated hai! Tum dono ko lagta hai ki mein Priya se pyaar karta hoon, lekin aisa kuch nahi hai!' Ram exclaimed.

'So tum Priya se pyaar karte ho aur Sonali se bhi?' Vikram asked.

'Nahi...Priya se pyaar nahi karta hoon. It's more than a friendship feeling, but definitely less than a love feeling. Pata nahi yeh beech mein feeling jo hoti hai usse kya kehte hai'. Ram said. 'Lekin mein Sonali se pyaar karta hoon, I know I don't love Priya'.

'Oh please Ram. I don't want your stupid logics. Saaf-saaf nazar aa raha hai ki tum Priya se pyaar karte ho'. Neha snapped.

'Apna beevi ko sambhaal yaar Vikram'. Ram grumbled. 'Kuch bhi bolne jaa rahi hai'.

'Kya galat bol rahi hai? Pyaar toh tu karta hai Priya se, aur tu Sonali se pyaar nahi karta hai. Dekh nahi paa raha hai tu? Tune hi kaha tha ki Sonali bilkul Priya ki tarah thi, issi liye tujhe pyaar hua usse! You only love the characteristics that Sonali has, which reminds you of Priya!' Vikram said.

'Tum log samajh nahi paa rahe ho ki mein kya bolna chaahta hoon! Mein Priya se pyaar nahi karta hoon, lekin kuch toh hai jo dosti se zyaada hai, I admit that. Lekin mein Sonali se pyaar karta hoon, and I know this because mere saamne sirf woh aa rahi hai'. Ram sighed.

'Tumhe toh US jaana hi nahi chahiye tha!' Neha exclaimed.

'Arre che saal ki baat hai meri maa, ab toh rehne do!' Ram yelled.

'Toh tum Priya se...actually...?' Neha confirmed.

Ram sighed. 'No yaar Neha'.

'Kya ho raha hai?' Priya barged in, before anyone could reply.

'K-kuch nahi'. Ram forced a smile.

'Sab kuch theek toh hai naa?' Priya raised an eyebrow.

'Haan Priya sab kuch theek hai'. Vikram assured her.

'Accha good. Anyway mein kahin baahar jaa rahi hoon, toh I'll be back home in an hour. Ram, ghaadi le sakthi hoon na?' Priya asked.

'Haan of course le sakthi ho lekin iss wakt kahan jaa rahi ho tum?' Ram asked.

'I'm actually going to meet one of my friends. Abhi abhi bohot saalon ke baad baat hui hai usse toh socha we'll go for a coffee or something'. Priya explained.

'Kisse milne jaa rahi hai?' Neha asked.

'He was actually my friend from college'. Priya replied. 'Rajat'.

Ram's jaw dropped down instantly. That name gave him the shudders. His mind immediately rushed back to one of the times he was with Priya.

*FLASHBACK TO 7 YEARS AGO*

'Yeh tum kiske saath phone pe baat kar rahi thi kuch der pehle?' Ram asked.

'Arre he's one of my friends from college. Rajat'. Priya replied.

'Hmm..looks like the two of you were having a very humurous conversation'. Ram pointed out. 'Zor se hans rahi thi tum'.

'Haan bas college ki kuch puraani yaadein...', Priya casually said.

'Ek minute...tumne ek baar mujhse kaha tha ki tum college ke wakt...you had a really big crush on someone lekin tumne mujhe kabhi bataaya nahi ki woh kaun tha? Yeh wahi toh nahi hai?' Ram asked.

'Arre nahi toh'. Priya instantly replied.

'Priyaaa'. Ram insisted. 'Jhut mat bolo'.

'Arre nahi hai Ram'. Priya denied. 'He was just a friend'.

'That's the classic line, for sure he's the guy'. Ram went on.

'Accha theek hai yaar, he's the one'. Priya finally accepted.

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

'Ek minute...umm...Vikram, Neha, tum dono baahar jaao ek second ke liye'. Ram told them.

'Kyun?' Neha asked.

'Jaao naa!' Ram yelled.

'Tu Priya ko bataane waala hai ki...?' Vikram hesitantly asked.

'NAHI!' Ram instantly shouted. 'Tum dono jaao na please!'

Neha and Vikram obediently left the room, leaving Ram quite confused and scared glances.

'Kya hua? Vikram...kis baare mein baat kar raha tha?' Priya asked.

'Tum...tum woh sab chodo'. Ram brushed off. 'Yeh wahi Rajat hai na? Jisse tum college ke wakt mein like karti thi?'

'Aapko yaad hai abhi bhi?' Priya asked in shock.

'Arre just answer my question!' Ram yelled.

'Haan wahi hai, lekin Ram, we're just meeting as friends. Matlab it has been ages since college, it's not like I still have a crush on him yaar, please. Waise bhi Ashwin ke baad yeh sab kuch bakwaas lagti hai mujhe toh mere paas inn sab cheezon ke liye naa koi interest hai naa koi wakt hai'. Priya firmly replied.

'Okay. I just wanted to make sure...you were doing...the right thing'. Ram explained, holding her hand giving her slight assurance. 'Tum jaao, have fun'.

'Thank you. I'll see you in an hour'. Priya smiled at him and squeezed his hand tight.

'Waise...where are you meeting him?' Ram asked her.

'Cafe Coffee Day'. Priya replied.

'Good choice'. Ram smiled. 'Sambhalke jaana'.

Priya nodded and left the room, and seconds later interrupting Ram in his thoughts came Vikram and Neha.

'Akhele mein kya baat karna tha tumhe?' Neha asked.

'Tumhe kya?' Ram snapped at her.

'Nahi mein bas aise hi pooch rahi thi'. Neha shrugged.

'Accha anyway, we have to follow Priya to Cafe Coffee Day'. Ram whispered.

'Kyun?' Neha and Vikram exclaimed.

'Priya is meeting Rajat yaar! Aur woh kuch zyaada hi tayyar hokar jaa rahi hai! Waise bhi itni raat hui hai toh it's a matter of safety'. Ram gave excuses. 'Come on guys, I don't feel right leaving her all alone at this time!'

'Ram she's not a teenager!' Neha yelled.

'Tum log chal rahe ho mere saath ki nahi? We have to go follow her yaar please!' Ram pleaded them.

'Ram you are sick! Teri shaadi ho rahi hai aur tu Priya ke peeche pada hua hai?' Vikram groaned.

'Haan!' Neha agreed. 'Think about this for a second at least.

'Tune shaadi ke liye haan kyun keh diya yaar?' Vikram grumbled.

'Guys for the 200th time mein Priya se pyaar nahi karta hoon! This is all I can say! Mujhe nahi laga tha tum dono aise sochoge!' Ram defended himself. 'Kyunki mein Sonali se pyaar karta hoon! Jo bhi ho, mein Sonali ko kabhi nahi chodnewala'.

'Jab Priya aa hi gayi thi toh tumhe iss shaadi ko rokna chahiye tha! Yaar day by day sabke expectations badti jaa rahi hai, and excitement bhi badti jaa rahi hai! Tum sirf Sonali ke dil balki bohot logon ki dil ko tootne waale ho!' Neha exclaimed.

'I won't get married to Sonali if I don't love her yaar, lekin I do! Tum dono ka dhimaag kharab hua hai!' Ram crushed his eyes shut.

'Pehle tumhe Priya aur Sonali ke beech mein kissi ek ko chunna padega. Uske baad hi tum ek sahi decision le paaoge'. Neha said.

Ram sighed. 'Mein Sonali se pyaar karta hoon, stop irritating me, both of you!'

'Priya se?' Vikram asked.

'Priya se pyaar NAHI karta hoon.'. Ram replied.

'Tere dhimaag mein jiski shakal, jiski awaaz, jiski baatein, jiske yaadein, everything...that's the person you are in love with Ram. Please iss problem mein tu apna dhimaag nahi, apna dil ka istemaal kar'. Vikram suggested. 'Stop lying to yourself Ram, please!'

'Tumhara dil kya keh raha hai?' Neha asked.

'Guys it's Sonali, please stop it! Mein Priya se pyaar nahi karta hoon, baar-baar ek hi cheez kehte jaa raha hoon lekin tum dono sunn hi nahi rahe ho. So just stop it'.

Ram had fallen in love with priya 6 yrs ago but couldn't confess..
Ram loves sonali just bcoz she is like priya..
I think priya also had fallen in love wid ram as she said 'agar aap 6 saal pehle US nahi gaye hote toh aaj ye sab nahi hota' in part 4 or 5.. Just a thought...
And rajat.. God pehle sonali kam nahi thi jo ab ye bhi agaya..

don't mind. but jaise ram confuse hai na waise main b confuse ho gayi. Maine phirse read kiya ye wala part. ram Priya se pyaar Karta tha before six years, ab nahi Karta. sonali se ab pyaar Karta hai lekin Priya ki care b karta hai. ufff took much confusion.

woah woah waoh!! can this get even worse!! ram agreed that he loved priya before going to US! thts new...he also admit tht he felt sonali like priya! so he fell in love with her!! now he is hitting back priya!! wth!! are u serious...and ab ye priya ka first crush bhi agaya!!! here neha and vikram are giving heck of a tim for ram...squeezing his every nerve to get the truth but ram is adamant he wont open up his feelings! but his actions are just jumping around holding a board.."I LOVE Priya!!!" hell good talent u have to manage this feelings... confusing like hell!! hashhh...really amazing...the story is moving in its own pace...nice...here ram is om his way to eavesdrop priya and rajat!! woah...where tht came frm and worst..sonali is started doubting raya!! hell...next jaldi plzz...Sunday right??
