Part 4
Ram waited for Priya outside her house in his black BMW. Today was their movie date and he had called her 5 minutes ago informing her he was parked outside. He was tapping his fingers on the steering wheel when he saw her come out. She was wearing a blue halter top and jeans that were hugging her curves.
Ram must say, she was looking very pretty. On the other hand, Priya came out of the house all nervous hoping she didn't make him wait that long. She looked at him while walking to his car and kept staring. He was wearing his black shades that had silver designs. When she became closer to his car, she also saw he was wearing a black shirt, with black faded jeans.
"Hi," Ram said as Priya sat in the car. "Hey," Priya smiled. Priya was trying to put the seat belt on when Ram saw her struggle. "Here let me help," Ram offered reaching over. His body was over Priya's so close, his hand on her hand putting the seat belt on. Priya smelt his masculine fragrance and got lost. Ram was trying to concentrate on the seat belt while he was so close to her. Finally they put on the seat belt and Ram took off to the theaters.
During the way to the theatres they both didn't talk as much. They were wondering how to start the conversation, and before they knew it they reached the theaters. Ram bought the tickets and popcorn.
They sat down in the theatres and the movie began. Ram laughed at mental aslyum situation as he knew if that happened to him after marriage he would be dying. Priya just blushed and Ram stared at her thinking how innocent she was. Ram was laughing at Madhvan situation, though Priya felt mad about how he was cheating on his wife and she threw a stare at Ram. Ram stopped laughing and just looked down pretending to eat popcorn.
Than came Khusum scenario, Ram was too busy staring at Priya's dimple as she laughed. Priya turned to look at Ram and Ram just turned his head quickly focusing on the screen again. Ram related to Madhvan love story story although the ending was something Ram wasn't going to relate to since Ram isn't planning to get married. At end when tanu realise her mistake n the song mat ja re was the saddest out of all of them and it made tears well up in Priya's eyes.
Ram felt more sad when he saw Priya cry. The Puppy the friend of manu was funny at times, but it gave Ram and Priya a good laugh. Finally the movie ended and they left the theaters. They sat in the car and Ram started to drive," Did you enjoy the movie?" "Yes it was okay," Priya replied. As she spoke her stomach grumbled due to the hungry she felt. "Are you hungry?" Ram asked concerned. "No," she replied embarrassed.
Instead of turning right to Priya's home he took a left. "Where are we going?" Priya asked. "I'm hungry. Maybe we should get something to eat," Ram smiled. Ram turned into a fancy Indian restaurant, "Have you came here before?" "Yeah, the food here is delicious," Priya replied. They both entered the restaurant and got seated. They started ordering food and the female waiter was smiling sweetly at Ram. Priya disliked her friendliness, but she noticed Ram wasn't paying too much attention to the waiter.
They started to eat after being served. "Here, try this," Ram extended his hand out to Priya across the table with food in it without thinking. The sudden motion surprised Priya, but she leaned forward to eat the food from his hand. Ram teased her as she leaned forward more he brought his hand back towards himself more. She stopped leaning and glared at Ram. He started laughing," Sorry." This time he extended his hand and Priya ate the food. "It's good," Priya said after eating it.
Ram smiled and they both continued to finish their meals. They left the restaurant and Ram dropped Priya off at her home. Ram entered the Kapoor Mansion and went to the living room to see everyone gathered. "Hey bhaiya," Rishab, Ram's younger brother yelled hugging Ram. "Hey Rishab. When did you arrive?" Ram was surprised. "Just now," Rishab explained.
"Sorry brother I missed your engagement. It's just that I was doing my exams. Now I'm finished, so I'm back and staying," he exclaimed happily. "Great," Ram said happily. "We all missed you." Masi interrupted," Rishab go freshen up, you must be tired from that long flight." " Ummm, Masi actually I have to tell everyone something," Rishab became serious. "what is it Rishab?" Vikram asked worried. Suddenly everyone became worried due to Rishab's serious tone of voice...

Rishab cleared his throat, "I met this girl in America and well we kinda got engaged." "What," everyone gasped. "What do you mean you kinda got engaged?" Vikram asked. "I mean we did get engaged. Look this may sound very sudden for you guys but I'm serious about her." "Wait," Masi said sounding overwhelmed sitting down on the sofa. "Start from the beginning, for god sakes we don't even know her name!" Vikram exclaimed.
"Okay, I meet her in my University in America. She is an orphan and her name is Soumya. We have been dating for about one year and I proposed to her last month. I know you guys are probably mad at me for not telling you, but I thought that it would be better if I told everyone in person." Neha who was standing beside Vikram started to talk, "Rishab we are not mad at you we are just overwhelmed. So where is she now?"
"She's kinda outside," Rishab mumbled smiling. "What do you mean kinda?" Ram asked. "Well, she is outside our house right now," Rishab explained. "Don't just stand there bring her inside!" Masi yelled. "Alright I'm going," Rishab walked outside. Five minutes later, Rishab walked in with a young looking girl wearing jeans and a jacket. She was looking professional and intelligent.
Masi went up to her and smiled, " Must say Rishab you choice is very pretty." Soumya blushed and she took Masi's blessings. The other family members were still in shock but it took them a couple of minutes to recover. After that they introduced themselves to Soumya one by one. Soumya was quiet and shy, the total opposite Rishab. Vikram told Rajat the news about Rishab and Soumya over the phone. Rajat was so excited he came over to the Kapoor Mansion with his wife Puja. "Hey, you!" Rajat spotted Rishab in the living room with everyone else.
"Hey yaar," Rishab smiled. "What's this? Getting engaged and not telling your family not even me?" Rajat pretended to be angry. "Sorry. It's just that I wanted to tell everyone personally," Rishab explained. "Okay, fine forgiven but at least introduce me to your fiance," Rajat smiled. Rajat and Puja started talking to Soumya after Rishab introduced them. Everyone was sitting in the living room and chatting away. Rishab turned to Ram who was sitting beside Masi,
"So Ram bhaiya, when are you introducing me to my future bhabi," he winked.
Ram stared at him and smiled. He turned around looking at Soumya, "Soumya there are lots of things we have to talk about," Ram smirked which made Soumya laugh and Rishab frown. Rajat stood up and cleared his throat so he had everyone's attention. "
This was such a wonderful month," Rajat began." Ram getting engaged than Rishab surprising us with his engagement. Two new additions to the Kapoor family I think that's great, but I think we all should get to know each other. Therefore, what say we take a vacation?" Ram shot Rajat a look and knew that Rajat was trying to change Ram's decision by bringing him and Priya together.
Masi also started to talk, "Rajat that's a fabulous idea. We will relax and in that way we will all get to spend quality time with each other," Masi was excited already. "Lets go to the farmhouse," Neha said.
"Yeah, that sounds fun," Puja pitched in. "I would love to go, but unfortunately there is so much work at the office it will be crucial for Kapoor industries at this time if I take a break," Ram pretended to be sad.
"Don't worry Ram one week will not be that bad. Anyways we don't have any important business meetings coming up any time soon," Vikram spoke. "But...," Ram wanted to protest. "Ram it's an order, you have to come," Vikram said sternly. "Fine," Ram sighed. "You should be happy Ram bhaiya, I mean we are planning to take Priya bhabhi with us," Rishab laughed. "Yes, the Sharmas are coming with us for sure, after all this is a family outing. I will call them right now," Masi got up to phone them.
As soon as she went to the other room, Ram threw a pillow at Rishab. "Ow, what did I do?" he asked innocently. You gave her the idea of bringing Priya along, Ram thought. Masi came back all excited, "It's finalized, the Sharmas are coming to our house tomorrow morning and from there we will be leaving to the farm house." Oh great, Ram thought one week with Priya so much for trying to avoid her.
Rajat came up to Ram, "So excited about the vacation?" "Oh yeah," Ram replied sarcastically. "Come on yaar, don't tell me you still want to break off the engagement," Rajat asked questioningly. "And what if I do still intend to break off the engagement?" Ram asked. "Than your going to be disappointed because you're not going to be able," Rajat said. "Why not?" Ram asked confused. "Don't worry you will find out later when you fall for her," he said. "Whatever, I'm not falling for anyone," Ram grinned. "Hard headed," Rajat mumbled to himself. "Did you say anything?" Ram asked. "No not at all," Rajat smirked.
