Six-year-old Amrita Mukherjee who rose to fame after her recent appearance in TV serial Bade Achhe Lagte Hain as bubbly Peehu does not want to be an actor when she grows up.
She was at the Diwali and Dhanteras mela at Hotel Park Plaza on Thursday. The two-day mela concluded on Friday.
Mukherjee, untouched by the stardom said, she does not want to act and will opt for another career when she grows up.
Her mother, Mrinmoyee who accompanied the little star, said, "We do not want Amrita to lose her innocence and childhood and till now she was working three days a week for the serial but the show has taken a leap and her role is over now. For future projects, we will take only those roles where she doesn't have to work for more than four days a month." "She has to focus on her studies now as ," added her mother.
The family revealed that negotiations are on with Sony for Amrita's appearance in Boogie Woogie for the dance show's comeback.
"I loved working with Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. We used to play and enjoy a lot on the sets. Sakshi Mam messages and calls regularly and we keep shooting for flashback scenes," she said.
