Talented actress Sakshi Tanwar will be seen hosting a show Mujhe Pankh De Do' on Life OKstarting this Sunday. This show will feature real life iconic stories of women achievers. It includes inspirational stories of women like Ekta Kapoor, Anjali Bhagwat, Deepika Kumari, Ritu Beri,Chhavi Rajawat and few others who battled against all odds in their life and achieved their dreams.

Sakshi has been playing main lead in Sony TV's Bade Acche Lagte Hain opposite Ram Kapoor. Her current track show her in coma and that's the reason how she got some time to host another show. Topics like these are very close to Sakshi's heart because she has been involved in lot of women empowerment projects. Mujhe Pankh De Do is a sponsored show funded by Stayfree and Sakshi is the brand ambassador for Stayfree Women for change initiative.

Says Sakshi, "The initiative stands for empowerment of women so that they can take charge of their destinies and follow their dreams. As the anchor, I will showcase the stories of these women who made a difference. I am extremely proud to be associated with the project".

She has also co-hosted popular crime show Crime Patrol earlier on Sony and her anchoring was appreciated to the core. In Crime Patrol she depicted the real life criminal incidents while in MPDD, she will inspire all the women out there to dream big and work hard to convert it into a beautiful reality.

MPDD will be a seven-episode series which will air every Sunday on Life OK at 11.30 am. It will also show stories of Indian-American astronaut Kalpana Chawla and Sarpanch of village Soda near Jaipur in Rajasthan who made a difference in society with their achievements.

The first episode of the series will showcase the life and journey of TV Queen and now a film producer Ekta Kapoor. To play her role, Pooja Gor aka Pratigya has been chosen. Pooja has strong face and she is a good actress who can pull off her character very well. Hope Ekta likes her!!

Since Sakshi has been absent from her show Bade Acche Lagte Hain, it was rumored that she has quit. But she later clarified that due to MPDD she had to take a small break from the show to complete her anchoring.

Well, we are excited to watch the real stories of successful women who rose above all odds. Hope audiences also like the show. Sakshi's fans who were missing her in BALH will be happy to see her back.
