Priya: Hello
Ram: What happened ? Where were you?
Priya: Ram i just had a bath..was in the washroom..Everything alright in Office? What happened?
Ram put on a serious tone..
Ram: I ll tell you when we meet...Where are you right now?
Priya: In the bedroom..why?
Ram: Ok..can you check the fridge? do we have ice cream?
Priya: ice cream? Give me 5 minutes..i ll check..
Ram: Why 5 minutes? Go right now..
Priya: Ram..i just had my bath
Ram: So? You cannot move after you take a bath?
Priya: No Silly...i have to wear clothes first...
Ram's mind quickly conjured an image of her..
Ram: Priya..i hope you have bolted the main door?
Priya: Not yet..why?
Ram: You are alone Priya..what if someone barges into the house?
Priya: Ram..the door is not open ..and i ll put the latches before i sleep..anyways who is going to come?
Ram: Don't tempt me ..
Priya: As if you would come right now...
Ram: Are you challenging me?
Priya laughed at that..Ram was away in his office..there was no way he could come here..
Priya: Yes..
Ram had by now reached the main door. He noiselessly inserted his key and opened the door..As expected Priya was not there in the living room. He removed his shoes and tiptoed towards the bedroom..To his luck the bedroom door was open..
Priya had her back towards him. Clad in just a towel she had the phone in one hand and was looking intently at the set of clothes lying on the bed..
Priya looked at her phone the call was till on..why had Ram gone silent..
Priya: Hello..Ram? Are you there?
Ram came a little close to her and wrapped his hands around her..
Ram: Yes..
Priya turned around startled..
Priya: You..here?
Ram: Someone challenged me..
Priya was suddenly aware of herself..She tried to push Ram..but his grip was too strong for her..
Ram placed a small kiss on her shoulder blade..and inhaled the fragrance of her hair..Priya inhaled sharply..
Priya: Ram i need to make dinner...
Ram pushed the damp hair to one side exposing one part of her neck..
Hmnnn..i am hungry too..
Priya: Leave me Ram..i ll make dinner...Priya's voice was unsteady..
Ram: Who said anything about the food ..Ram chuckled as his lips pushed their way across nuzzling Priya's neck..
Ram: I have won the challenge Madam..and i deserve my prize..He gently led Priya to the bed and they made love.
Ram: Priya.. i am hungry..he looked at her sheepishly...
Priya: Happy realization..let me make something for you..
Priya: By the way you still haven't told me what happened at office..
Ram: All your fault..i was coming to tell you and you seduced me..
Priya hit Ram on his head..
Ram: Well Madam..i have been promoted..I am heading the middle east project now..
Priya: Wow..thats great news..she hugged ram tightly...
Priya: I am so so happy for you...
Ram: Correction Madam..its us..
Ram: And now my job timings have changed too..I have a normal day job like you..
Priya: That is so fantastic Ram..
Ram held Priya's hand in his...
Ram: This is only possible because of you..You are my lucky charm.
Priya: And you are mine...
Ram: Lets celebrate this..
Priya: Ram..lets save ..We can have our celebration later..We should be careful about our money and invest it..
Ram: How can i forget my wife is a qualified CA..As you say madam..
Priya got up to make dinner...
As they sat down for dinner Ram spoke to Priya
Ram: By the way my office has kept a party on Saturday..we have to attend it..
Priya: Party..wow..sure we will attend..
Priya: Ram...
Ram looked at her something in her tone made him apprehensive..
Priya: You think we should visit our parents once?
Ram: And get insulted?
Priya: Ram they are our parents and our whole idea of getting married quickly was to convince them about us..
Ram: Agreed Priya..but i want them to come to us..to see for themselves that we are happy together..
Priya: But..
Ram: Priya..lets not discuss this today..i am in a very happy mood..
Priya: Ok..
Ram: By the way what time will you leave tomorrow?
Priya: I think 8 should be fine considering the distance?
Ram: Yeah..i ll leave at that time too..By the way we can atleast go down and have ice cream..right?
Priya smiled at him: Yes..
After the ice cream..as they slept ..Priya twisted and turned unable to sleep. She touched her Mangalsutra once more..Ram had so much negativity about his parents ..she was afraid on how he would react when she told him the mangalsutra was actually given by his mother and not Sheetal..But she had to tell this to him soon..
In the morning both Ram and Priya rushed through their chores and got ready for the office. Ram locked the door and followed Priya down the stairs..
Ram: I ll drop you till your office..
Priya: Ram, thats the opposite direction..you will get late..
Ram: I have started early Priya..i won't be late..its just 3 stations behind yours..
Priya: But
Ram put a hand to his ears...not letting Priya speak anything..
As they neared the gate of her office Priya saw Cheeni..
Priya: Thats the reason you anted to drop me right? She asked teasingly..
Ram let out a laugh..That is there but more than that i love spending every moment that i can with you..
Priya: I love you Ram..
Ram: love you too..
Priya: Bye and have a nice day..Mr. Kapoor
Ram: Same to you..Mrs. Kapoor..
Ram watched as Priya entered her office and disappeared from his view..
As he turned around..he came face to face with Cheeni..He was about to greet Cheeni when he saw the other person with him..Ram stood still as he came face to face with his Dad.
